Welcome to LIFE. Sometimes stuff doesn't go as planned. Sometimes stuff doesn't happen with reason. It just HAPPENS. You make and take the opportunity of what's given to you when it's given. Everybody knows that. Hell our boy Ned didn't have a plan either. His whole time in King's Landing has been pretty much "winging it". That's how life goes.

really? welcome to life that's the best you can do?
nah that's not it at all im sorry but that just doesn't make sense. when everything you do is important and potentially life threatening you have have moer to go off of than taking the opportunity cause its there. cause there are always consequences for your actions WELCOME TO LIFE

his whole time in kings landing wasn't winging it until his wife put him in a fucked up situation that he didn't plan for and he had to scramble to stay alive and save his family
consequences of her actions that were unnecessary and reckless. that is not how life goes, you don't just randomly do shit that potentially gets your family killed cause you saw the opportunity to do it that makes no sense.
There was no fallback...because he wasn't there. This is what they call...a JUDGEMENT CALL. Sometimes judgement calls aren't good, sometimes they go bad. Her husband got stabbed up because Jaime wanted to be a bad man and attack the King's Hand in the King's city. Which to ME and apparently since he went on the RUN is illegal to do.
no he got stabbed up because she took his brother. if she doesn't kidnap his brother, none of his men die and he doesn't have a limp and a cane right now simple as that. did you forget what the entire confrontation was about? he ran up on him and asked him why he took his brother (he didn't but he had to cover for it since saying my wife did this dumb shit wouldn't fly and wouldn't be "noble") and then proceeded to get into it and many men have died cause of her actions ALREADY
again a price she doesn't have to pay.... how many more will die because she just went with it? what if her husband had gotten killed then...then what? her judgment call would be ok too then?
She made the right call originally. Ned would've done the same thing. I doubt he would've taken the imp to the Eyrie but still. Capturing him was the right move.
capturing him was entirely the wrong move ESPECIALLY SINCE WE KNOW HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT
why do you keep forgetting this? he had nothing to do with it and it made even less sense to kidnap him cause he recognized her in the tavern...
ned would have done what he did, investigated plotted found out the truth of who was behind it and what was the motive AND THEN came to it to robert and got it handled. ROBERT TRUSTED NED
do you see? ned shitted on robert and said fuck being the kings hand because they're trying to kill the girl and her child... any other man would be put to death because of it....ned just gets his place back and told don't let it happen again... ned gets to be protector of the realm from the king himself because he trusted him so... so if ned came to him with the facts robert would have acted accordingly
instead her making a "judgement call" "welcome to life" sort of action robbed him of the chance to handle things properly. and totally ruined everything that could have been
stop making excuses for her
it wasn't right on any level no matter how you try and rationalize it
basically what you're saying in defending her is, people can do whatever they want to do on the fly have it affect their families and loved ones and the others just have to deal with it and fight for their lives...and its ok cause it was their call even though they are in no immediate danger or peril but their actions have put everyone they live in it big time...
