AMC has sent along the very first production photo for their upcoming series, The Walking Dead, based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charles Adlard, along with the following information:

WARNING: Zombies may appear helpless…but they are dead, and dangerous...

Attached please find the first photo released from the set of AMC’s The Walking Dead, currently being shot in Atlanta, GA. Of the formation of the zombies, creator, director, and executive producer Frank Darabont says "Greg Nicotero is absolutely out-doing himself. The work he is doing is beyond what one could hope for. 2nd Coming is meh.

Irredeemable is great...though I would love for them to address what happen to those reporters that witness the fight where Plutonian got beat.

You no longer feeling TWD?

AMC has released three more photos from "The Walking Dead," which is currently filming in Atlanta. Based on the Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charles Adlard comic, the six-episode first season is written, produced and directed by Frank Darabont and executive produced by Gale Anne Hurd. The series follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home after a zombie apocalypse.

The pics include Andrew Lincoln as Grimes as well as Kirkman, who also executive produces, with more zombies! "The Walking Dead" will premiere on AMC in October 2010 during Fearfest.

BTW - I heard a rumor that a limited edition 'The Walking Dead' heroclix/horrorclix are being released during the premiere in key comics shops. Don't know how valid it is but there was some limited edition Invincible (original costumes) that came out awhile back without much fanfare that are now stupid expensive.

Would I be asking to much for cats to upload issues #61-74 in 1 rar file...I don't have a RS account so it's taking too long to dl 1 @ a time...would appreciate it

*Edit*

Fuck it got them all the hard way...will save the read for my trip next week

thanks for the heads up:

Image Comics has announced that issue #75 of Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s The Walking Dead will be released on July 14th. Kirkman has been promising for awhile that issue 75 will feature a big turning point in the story and will also be the conclusion of the current story arc. Now, Issue 71 has only just been released last week after several months of delays so I’ve actually only barely started this ‘current arc’ so I feel a little rushed even just looking over the promotional information for July’s issue. Issue 75 will be 40 pages long and will also feature a special short story that will be in full color, a first for series.

Also, the first 8 or so episodes of AMC’s The Walking Dead television series will premiere in October
during their annual special Halloween programming block. Filming takes place during this May and June.

thanks for the heads up:

Damn I bet there's no naked bitches or no real niggas in this shit neither...thanks for the heads up bout to delete this boring ass shit off my iPad

This is possible. I want them to hopefully visit the jail one day. I really wanna know what happened after the chaos.

I want to know too but I dont think that they are.
From Robert Kirtman
"I'm not going to say (the Woodbury survivors) were all killed (when their bullets ran out), but it's very unlikely that we'll ever see them again. The prison is dead to me. I've moved on and so have the characters."

I'll be damned if that Prison wasn't just absolutely perfect tho. smh. great spot to hole up at. I think they should even maybe move on and find another 1.

Anybody wanna help me out and split issue 75 into 2 parts...it's real easy...?

Just rename the downloaded .cbr extension to .rar then unzip it

You will have a folder of .jpgs

Put the 1st half of the jpgs in one folder (part one) and the other half in another folder (part two)

Right click and archive/compress each of the folders then rename the .rar extensions to .cbr and you will have issue 75 in 2 readable parts and just upload em separately to wherever

If anyone can do this I would appreciate it...I could do it when I get home in a few days but would like to dl it to the iPad and read it on the plane...w/ Stanza if the files are a certain size then it times out when dling...hope someone helps out...thanks
