I am sure in those woods they pass countless times they have probably passed over some good sources of food but they would have to know that...

For example with a little bit of pine leafs, fat from an animal and water you can make a good shampoo and soap. But they would have to know that.

It is being stated that it is government related & a scientist who came unto some info related to the zombie creation is stating that they have to go to Washington, D.C. to get answers.

But that is all hearsay - It came from the characters not from the "narrator" aka writer.

You should go back and read them, kidmegaii. There is a lot of subtle details that flesh out the characters and predicaments better.

I started skipping after michonne was getting raped, I'm glad she got some revenge but I'm kind of lost interest.

That scene/issue was a turning point for the book. To many it seemed too much but if you look at his writing style and what he is trying to convey in the story it fits.

We'll see in the upcoming movies that Hollywood has coming out that are about this topic (post-apocalyptic) whether they will be going to show this truly darker side of what humanity WILL do under these pressures. But I think he was trying to say...this is a fucked up world and I won't be pussy footing around anything.

I lucked out and got into the series when it was already into the 50s.So I was able to start from the 1st to the 50th in a week.But now this waiting for new issue shit is killing me

I'm actually considering buying the entire series, issue by issue and re reading it..

i downloaded up to issue 68..

i might turn this into a weekend morning routine.. workout, then read the walking dead for relaxation..............


i'm as giddy as a little japanese boy at at a cosplay convention :dance:


what other books should i be consider adding to my "To Read" list?

that's why i'm not rushing.. been looking for finished or finishing tv shows as well, its much more enjoyable watching/reading in large chunks..

I know what u mean it took me 2 days to catch up(They was at issue 60 at the time) a few months ago.........I was like dayum....Im thinkin about rereading the issues again

Tell me about it. Since that book took off the Wednesday at the local comics store is packed like a motherfucker.

I've been seeing people buy the trades just off of the conversation some of us are having at the shop alone.

damn right i do, i love my free stuff but i have no problems paying for items i love, some movies, some albums, some games, and in the past year that i returned to reading comics not one comic made me want to purchase it.. but i want to purchase walking dead..

do they only sell them as single issues or do they sell them as one giant book as well like issues 1 through 50 in grahic novel?


might have to check out what nyc comic book stores might still be around.. if not i'll have to buy online..

already downloaded most of the other stuff you guys recommended as well

yeah they sell individuals and Volumes. My brother collected all the individual copies. And yeah Walking dead is the only comic i know that gets sold out on a constant bases. When walking dead comes out you see much more people in the comic store than usual.

You can get the TPB (Trade Paper Backs) or Hardcovers - Or the single issues.

I suggest you hit a local store though because they have better sales going on. I was lucky to get TPB 1 to 4 for $4.00 each. When I order TPB through my local retailer he gives me a free bonus book sometimes that are around my interest.

I got a nice little game going on.

I buy all of the single issues. But I don't want them. I just want to read them. I want the TPBs.

So I sell my back issues for the minimum of cover (or more...but all I want is cover...sometimes ppl jump in and be like 'I will give you $10 for that...') back to collectors at the store that jumped on late and then pick up my TPB usually at a profit.

Comixology app for the iphone finds nearby comic book stores.. found one in riverdale near my girls house..:dance::dance:

i'll check it out, then i just need to find one near work as well :dance::dance:

also has push notification for when my favorite comics are released :dance:

I have the same thing via email by the newsletters for each of the comics companies.

I'm down to only 3 books though so I do a lot of shopping during the cons in NYC. Get TPBs for dollars.
