I was in a Chink store when Gyan hit that thunderous masterpiece...I immediately went to the TV and was with my friend screaming... The Korean women asked us what was going on and I explained that Ghana was leading. I started hi fiving the Chink women and then someone somewhere cut off the power to the TV. Slit eyed hating devils...

Desailly is of Ghanaian descent. Have I never told you that the French national team is an African team?
Or that US has been constantly talking about Messi and Maradona and when they won that's where the focus was on. It's like when Lebron lost that playoff series last year and immediately the camera was on him being upset and not wanting to shake hands.

Exactly... They have to grow up developing instinctive midfield skills. The game is midfield, midfield is the game. Today we saw how the Argentine midfield stomped the Mexican midfield out of the game. The normally imposing Giovanni Dos Santos was checked out of the game, and from there, Tevez and Messi took over...Argentina have such faith in their midfield that they brazenly challenge you to beat them in midfield. You have the likes of Messi and Tevez chasing down balls instead of retreating to midfield to show up the defence. Mexico did not help matter by trying to make cute passes at the back. Sometimes you just have to clear the motherfucking ball..

What's funny to me is that although I don't regularly follow this sport, I have become a bit of a snob about it. I was looking at the guide on my TV to see what else will be coming on in the next few hours. I think I'll need to balance out whatever amount of the BET Awards I see, ...Anyway, I saw that there is a MLS game on right now. I turned my nose up at that game and said I refuse to watch that low grade of soccer......How the hell could someone who doesn't even consistently watch the game be so picky about it? Whatever the case, I know what the good shit is, and World Cup is it...

I watch highlights of the Premiership and La Liga. But I wouldn't watch a mid table team play. Just my team. and other teams in the top 4 in those leagues. If u want Quality football/soccer then Champions League is the best. World Cup just has more things at a higher level, but the best quality is no doubt the CL (especially the knockout i.e. barcelona-arsneal game).

Fox Soccer Channel usually carries 2 Premiership matches on Saturdays and Sundays during the season. One early morning and another later morning. They also will have some Serie A (Italian League) matches. ESPN will have a match but those are just @ 7:00am EST (I may not have the times right so correct me if wrong).
If you want to catch La Liga, get GolTV.
I believe Fox Soccer has the rights to Champions League so you can catch those there.
Other than that, there will be streams all over the place that you can catch some stuff live online.

Yeah man. Argentina fucking crushed Mexico too. Mexico was outclassed. The shit was so bad I wondered who's family had been kidnapped or was going to get kidnapped. The 2nd goal was a totally stupid fuck up and the 3rd was just a gangsta shot. I can hip you to a torrent site that posts the games if u want to watch any after they're over.
channel surfing usually has links to all of the champions league matches. Match days are tuesday and wednesday nights (which is afternoon if you are in the US). Think of the CL as a global playoff of sorts for Europe. Each league in all of the participating european countries are afforded a certain number of spots for the competition. Consequently, in football it matters not only who wins the league but also who finishes 2nd 3rd or 4th as these spots qualify for the champions league in the bigger leagues.

My U-14 team that I coach ...notice all the brothers...got every last one from the hood taught them the game, and in 1 full calendar season fall/spring we finished a combined 32-2-0... 2 state titles, 1 district, 2 region titles..all of them also got scholarships to local private schools and the one on the left of the player in all white is already being scouted by some heavy hitters with him only being 13
When WE get some really athletic brothers in the national side..the US Soccer team will be a force..but it's going to require some of you all to get your heads out of your asses and give the game a chance
