We need to forget about senior football in Africa and open academies for our youth. If not, we are gonna be hit and miss forever. Every 4 years, whatever African nation is lucky enough to have had some of its youth developed in Europe makes it out of the first round. However, there is no sign of consistency... Ivory Coast are a force, but many of their players were born and developed in Europe. Drogba went to France when he was 5 years old and could have played for France..
We need academies so that we can have a continuous flow of talent, instead of depending on luck ...South Africa should have used their money to develop youth football instead of paying for stadiums they will never fill...

Honestly, I do not give a fuck if they go to the next round. The shit they played was depressing. They sat there and let their opponents walk up to, and tee off on their keeper and backline. I hope they get eliminated; them and cameroon. I hope they get beaten by their fans at the airport so that they can take this shit seriously. I told all of you, that there was only 1 real African team, Ivory Coast. Ghana has shown some pride and has a chance to go the next round. As for Nigeria and Cameroon, fuck both of them, fuck them.
