Margarito looked way too linear for Mosley not go have a fairly high connect percentage against him...It looked like Tony was a stationary target for Shane at times...

with the Cotto/Mosley fight, Cotto got the fast start and took four of the first six, but Mosley came back in the seventh and rocked him in the ninth, and had him running the rest of the way. I thought Shane won that fight 7 to 5.

Bingo! they GAVE that fight to cotto bcuz at the time he was undefeated..shane had that fool on his trike the last 3 rounds..IMO if they fight again it will be SHANE winner by the way of KO

Classic brawlers always give classic boxers a hard time. I could see Floyd breaking his brittle hands on Tony's face. There is an element of strength and punching power that Shane used tonight that Floyd doesn't have. Simply put, I don't see how Floyd is going to keep him off of him. Margarito would just keep hitting him on his arms and shoulders until he couldn't raise them any more. I think he would wear him down. Note, I am not saying Margarito is better than Floyd. Everyone knows Floyd is skillwise, an all-time great. I am just saying that I think he is too big and strong for Floyd. Floyd is a small welterweight. I see it as a bad physical matchup. I have always thought so.
Like I said before, all bets are off if Margarito has always been cheating.

I see your side but Mayweather has too many advantages physically and mentally to lose to Margarito. He's the 2nd best scouter in boxing (Bernard Hopkins). He would use his superior speed to hit and not be hit. Margarito wouldn't be the first "pressure" fighter he's fought so "Money" wouldn't be thrown off by his style. Most importantly, for all his talk about being "ducked", when he's in big fights, he's overcome by nerves. That's why he got off to slow starts against Williams, Cotto, and Mosley but not Cintron or anyone else. It would be another fight in which he loses the first 5-7 rounds, giving Money a huge advantage. Then given Mayweather's ability to finish strong, he have a hard time finding a way to win.

Good, if he stays at 154-160 weight classes I hope he takes his time to get acclimated to those divisions and fighters, instead of jumping in the shark pool right away due to impatience and frustration, especially after being avoided so long by the big name fighters in the lower weight classes.

Not yet. But Wright's the only guy it seems is even willing to entertain fighting Paul Williams. Williams has learned from the lost to Quintana and will not let months and months go without a fight.

I don't think so. The HBO announcers were dismissive of that fight happening now with Margarito's very public, one-sided ass whooping. If it hadn't been a televised fight or had it been closer (a split decision, maybe) or if he still had a title belt, it could have still happened.
