as an amateur archaeologist do you have any evidence you can personally show us to help strengthen our own arguments as to other higher civilizations existing and where they may have come from and went?
It's hard for me to personally get to you to show ya. But there are many websites, out there that have them. Theres no denying the temples and such.
I'm a skeptic at heart, but am willing to believe in things grounded in the real world.

I hear you but.. did you mean the first humans werent dark skinned or that we as in humans "were not the first not greatest"? If you meant the former, how is it that you know this?
I personally believe evolution could have been assisted. To an extent we're doing just that to some animal species in labs as we speak... we are of course only doing it to the extent or our conceived needs(which are not huge leaps in comparison to the missing link) but what if the "assistants" to our evolution needed a little bit more out of us at the time?
All i truely know is that in the grand scheme of things, every so called "proof" at some point relys on another human beings word. Humans who have been proven to grossly embellish history if it suits them. With that, alot more things become possible.
Both, actually. I base my beliefs in science actually and various research i've done.
EVERYTHING on the earth is made from it, Humans are biodegradable, so are our all accomplishments. Based on what was said in history and science classes, if you choose to believe them or not. When civilizations fall, they tend to fall hard. If the things of past ages aren't preserved or cared for they tend to go POOF. Meaning they will return to their previous state.
Humanity itself didnt all start off as black folks. There were waay to many tribes scattered around the world. Some ethnicities evolved to adapt to their current environment. Early example are blacks high resistance to heat, and whites higher tolerance for colder climes. It's not just a skin color thing.
As far as us being the greatest civilization, What makes us so great? Reality TV? Cars. Mp3 players, Operas?
Civilizations exist on far more than that. Their legacy is based on how they leave the world for the next set of people.
We may be the first to invent, Styrofoam simply because, it was never done.
I dont think we invented flight, theres too much evidence from MANY ancient cultures to think that. TV? Who cares about that stuff. After we are gone the egyptian hieroglyphs will still exist, but out tv's wont.
forms of automation have existed since ancient days. What we think of as pinnacles may just be a variant of what was created before.
For instance just today Bill gates announced that, Keyboards may become a thing of the past, due to speech recognition in future PC's. Biologists have theorized and studied using the human body to process data. Who's to say this or some semblance of it hasnt been done before.
Did you know that roman and greek buildings are stronger built, than anything we can make? The concretes and materials we use today are not made for durability. That's why when quakes destroy whole cities... all the ancient structures go mostly undamaged.
Man theres soo much, I can't go into it all. The information is readily available in multiple languages. So you dont have to settle for some white american or Euro guys take on it.
Just research,, and filter otu the garbage.
My head hurts..
