So lemme get this straight, the companies are coming after not for HOSTING the content, but for letting other's put up a link to the site where the content is being hosted?

That's a bit like saying you're an accessory to the crime because someone on your board told everyone the bank vault was unlocked and the money's sitting out there in the open.

I'd send them a polite rebuttal letter saying that you do not host the content and as such, you are breaking no laws and will not interfere with the 1st admendment rights of your board members by censoring content which does not violate the bylaws of BGOL. BGOL is a private forum and we take very seriously our right to as one of the very few open and uncensored forums for adult dialogue between BLACK MEN of all ages (w/respect to BGOL).

Evil Angel, your issue is with the person(s) uploading the content itself as well as the company hosting the content and as such and complaints and/or threats should be directed to those parties and not BGOL.

If Evil Angel can find specific instances where BGOL servers stored and hosted illegal content or can identify members who specifically posted illegal content which they themselves upload, you HNIC will be more than glad to take corrective action you deem appropiate.

Simplest solution...

Cats don't have to put the full name of a movie in the post titles. Just put "New Jada Fire vid" and leave it at that. Also, screenshots are cool, but stop posting them and ESPECIALLY DVD covers with the clips. Not like these cats are high tech enough to be sniffing links, they are simply reading post titles and seeing DVD covers in posts. Post a single pic of who is in the flick, the name of the female artist or artists, a simple description of the "action" and the link and keep it moving.

Problem solved.
