I have a feeling it's just going to end unresolved like The Sopranos...
1. Let's say "yes." Let's figure they are a big enough release to feature the hot "It" girls of the moment that everybody is trippin off of.
2. Let's say no. Let's say folks are copping the DVDs or downloads and formatting them into clips for the purpose of sharing. (Like a Zshare of a scene) or finding them on porn blogs or something.
3. Let's say they are planning to share them on a random message board of some kind.

The bigger problem is that as bgol becomes more high profile, people from other sites notice when bgol links to them. Shit, you can go to some Obama campaign vids on youtube and see that bgol is one of the highest traffic referrers.
People are stupid enough to post stolen software and movies on here and then link to product images on the actual companies website in the same post.
If all of the links on this board were made anonymous, the board would have wayyyy less nosey eyes linking back from godknows where and ultimately less problems.

I'm not going to close it but a lot of the DVD content will be removed, I don't know how popular the board will be when a good portion of the DVD content is gone.

This will actually eliminate a lot of the lurkers that only come here to download movies. The people that have been coming here will continue to come here. I personally like the way the fitness board is progressing, so I'd come here just for that.

Agreed. I came to this site 5 years ago because people were breaking into my (xxx)sites amd posting passes to all my adult content. I ended up staying. Mostly because I wanted to plug the holes as they popped up. It also helped me up my security game and keep these leeches out.
THe industry and technology has changed. It used to be pics but now its video everybody wants and the means to deliver it has grown exponentialy.
I understand what these people are saying. No one wants to spend all that money shooting only to have it posted for free. But Evasive is targeting a small leak (BGOL). Torrent sites are doing WAAAAY more damage. I rarely download movies off of BGOL I can point to 10 torrent sites that post all their shit on a regular. Usually the day it drops. So Evasive if you're reading this, I feel you but you've already lost millions in sales not because of this board but because of bit torrent.
This site will still be entertaining without the vids.

OK. let's start here. as copyright holders, the content producer has exclusive rights of reproduction. violating the copyright opens the infringer up to both civil AND criminal penalties. since you indicated sharing on a random website and NOT a counterfeiting operation, it would most likely be a civil matter and not criminal.

before i comment on this area, let me back up to the trademark issue, because it is a NO-BRAINER and the easiest method of proving violation.
example: some reality-based content producers such as bang____.com, braz____.com, and naughtyam_____.com watermark their scenes with trademarked business names. that means EVERY FRAME carries their trademarked business name, so the violation is clear.
or how about content producers with contract talent, where the performers names are trademarked? and there is a boxcover pic accompanying the video? that's a two-fer.
