For my people who MAC at hoes fo real and not just on their PC

iTUNES IMPORT QUALITY QUESTION:

What's the BEST encoding format for iTunes? I just noticed it is automatically set for AAC (MPEG-4). Should I change it to MP3 or Apple Lossless? :confused:

Also, should I even use iTunes as my main media player? It seems like it changes or scrambles my files sometimes. :angry:

Any advice would be appreciated. :yes:
 
Doe's anyone have a program better than pocketmac that will let me sync my blackberry. I'm also looking for a program that will let put some of the vids found on here on my 8830 world edition

Set up iTunes to your preferences in the preferences panel. iTunes is the best audio player for Mac hands down, although there are several iTunes controllers, bytecontroller is the best free one IMO and does just about everything the shareware ones do.
AAC is a better format than mp3, smaller file size better quality, but I see no prob with my 192+ kbps mp3s that I cop online. However I do encode all CD rips to AAC.
And while we're at it SRS iWow audio plugin is a must for Mac audiophiles.

Yo thanks for this post. It's heads like you that make the Mac world go round. I just got a imac two days ago and the thing is driving me crazy. If it wasn't for me paying so much for it I would smash it.Do u have the serial for the cs3 photoshop?:D

Got something better than a serial, got that [K]rack for the whole suite. Gotta find it.

Does anyone have a screen capture program like Mimic or Snapz Pro X?

I need to take a video of me walking someone through a series of steps on my machine.
 
I know im slow to the mac world but this photoshop cs3 is telling me to drop the app in the drop zone box but I cant find the app. Need help bad.....thanks

Snapz Pro X has been updated, I have it but did not install, instead I installed iShowU, but have yet to use it. Here they both are, Snapz comes with the [k].

Can someone help me with the opening of that photoshop cs3 . I opened up the file and a little box opened up with a folder. I dub click the folder and another window opened up and says to (drop the app here & wait for successfully patched dialog) I then drag the first folder in the drop zone and it tells me I can"t apply the patch on this file. What is the app their talking about? ...Thanks........:confused::confused::hmm:

1st U must install the CS3 app. After they are installed do not open them [may still work even if u do], double click/open the [k].dmg, in it u will find a box which is the folder for all the [k]s. Double click/open the folder/box and you will see icons that match the applications in CS3 Design Premium Suite, locate on your hard drive the CS3 Design Premium application you want to patch into the drop zone.
