The last time we saw Sanaa Lathan on the big screen, she did the interracial romance film, 'Something New' with Simon Baker, and now she's at it again as she will star opposite Matthew Broderick in 'Wonderful World'.
According to Variety, the film centers on a depressed, divorced and unemployed father who finds solace in his Senegalese roommate's sister.
Production starts Oct. 19 in Shreveport, La. Joshua Goldin wrote and will direct.

I guess this is the new trend in Hollyweird. Its funny how they have all these flicks with black women in love scenes with white boys but you they'll barely show a brother brushing a white bitches elbow onscreen.

I am a african american female married to a white male. I see nothing wrong with Sanaa doing a movie with a white man. Do I like all white people, certainly not. But then again, I don't like all black people either. During the time i got married, Black men had so many lists about the women they wanted to date. You had to be light skinned, you had to have long hair, and you had to be thin. Well, I am brown skinned, have short hair, and am not fat, but not thin either. So i take offense when people talk about dating outside your race. For those of you who were fortunate to find a good Black man that accepted you for you, than i say praise God. However, I happened to find a White man who has loved me and accepted me for who I am for 20 years. We as African Americans need to first deal with the discrimination within our own race before we can begin to deal with the outside discrimination!!!!
