My condolences on your uncle, I have a sister that is diabetic and she has had her leg amputated due to her being such a "pretty girl" that she didn't take care of herself and we look up and they told her to stop doing certain stuff and she continued and got an infection. Each time I get a call I'm afraid something is wrong.

I'm glad you all have a support system for your grandmother.

I read a lot too, that has been my thing forever. I read a lot of Urban fiction books and I love it. Hang in there though,

Retired. Still reeling from the loss of my mother. Gonna take us a year or so to sell the house dealing with this probate bullshit.

Going to hit fiddy fo on the 23rd.

Job is decent, but I feel being black in this workforce the sword of Damocles is always hanging above our head.

Since the passing of my wife of 25 yrs, a few years ago I have found love again.

She's a great woman with a kind giving spirit who loves me to death.

I am super grateful that she understands I am like a joined trill, my wife's spirit and our memories are always with me (it always comes back to star trek or star wars.)

Congratulations on finding love again! This made me smile.

I'm glad I decided to do it as well, because I was hesitant because of how the personalities were years ago on here, but I also realized how much we've grown too and sometimes it's just good to get this stuff out.
