I live in Columbus, Ohio. A one bedroom apartment here, in a decent neighborhood, is at least $900 a month. A two bedroom apartment in a decent neighborhood is at least $1200 a month.

Man, when I got out of the military I couldn't find a job for shit. Nobody would fucking hire me. I almost got evicted like four times but I was able to come up with the money, and because of it, my landlord didn't raise my rent at the rate he rose everyone else's.

Affordable housing is the big problem. People have to work two jobs just to pay rent at some of these places. Crazy. I pay $1540 for a whole ass 2545 sqft home in Ohio.

I don't know any married couples in public housing because of income limits.

There are homeless people that are married, homeless people that are married that are former or current addicts, married people that are disabled, married people that are elderly, married people that are vets…these people would qualify for section 8
