Trump is proposing a 2 year limit for people on Section 8 housing. What do you think about it?

a 2 year limit is crazy. seems like everything this administration do to solve a problem just creates 5 more problems. but i can see homelessness, employment, theft , welness and mental health just going through the roof. i do think there should be a period of time tho. start requiring people on section 8 take x amount of meetings to get better info on getting off of it. and whatever the rent slowly raise it based on that individuals income. everybody's story is different.

Create a problem, blame others for it so you can come back and say you will save them if you trust us to fix it.

Nobody even read the project 2025 (ne proj 2016) cliff notes?
It's all in there.

Here's the history and the scumbags behind it
yeah I know Colin

here's how much they've accomplished so far

Unfortunately people didn't take this seriously smh.

I'm cool with it. 2 years should be enough time to get yo shit together.
I think there has to be poor people, or else inflation would skyrocket. I think, with as rich as this country is, every American deserves basic housing and sustenance. When people don't have that crime increases.

I agree with what others have said already: Trump is looking to increase the prison population to create a bigger slave labor market to benefit corporations.

Nope.

And on this board I'd say maybe 10-15% will take the time and make the effort to fact-check.

One thing this travesty of an administration (and I use the word loosely) has shown, well two things, is how fucking racist and misogynistic this country is and how broken this government is.

Folks wouldn't get off their ass and vote because she is Black and a woman.

But even more disturbing is that he really lost according to several reports I've read. The reichpublicans purged a whole bunch of people, millions, from the rolls and when these people went to vote they were forced to cast a certain kind of ballot - shit I forgot what it's called. Anyway, these ballots weren't counted when they called the election. The estimate was 3 to 4 million in favor of Kamala. She wins.

Which has its own associated cost burdens to start and implement. Qualified administers of said evaluations would not be cheap and would not be conducted with any level of concern in the least especially since this would undoubtedly be outsourced to mostly greedy private companies under Republicans.

Not mad at that but I am mad at falsehood and deceit. We live by a lot of secrets. And truly we would not be paying tax dollars for a lot of this white supremacy shit like NASA, CIA, etc. And if we listen to them Jesus was killed for being black and not a carbon copy of whites. Actually just like in Libya Murmur Ghadiff took a third world underprivileged country to being one of the most prospers countries in the world didn't owe the world bank anything. There was no homeless or even poor people. They didn't take in the tax dollars America do and still claim to be almost 40 billion in debt. You would have to be a carbon copy of whites and promote a white reality to have gotten any of that money. The problem is still big white devils like himself.
If anything section 8 should be the lowest anybody could go, not the trash cans.

I have been sounding the alarm on these trade deals, college scholarships, building schools, sports, going to college.

The Flip and Fraud scam, hustle your way to prosperity. I got sick of it, they tried coming at me, messing up their psyop.

We need payroll not watching some athlete walk away with some endorsement deal. Now that people are getting kicked off they are shook.

It would free up space for the elderly, disabled. I don't know how many times I run across the elderly in the middle of winter.

I do not agree. Yes there is fraud in every every part of the economy, especially the government. This will hurt more people and help none. The US government takes a hell of a lot more from its citizens/residents than it gives back.

You can, there’s rules around, but you can always game the system.
Spell it out then. This that Republican style disinformation campaiging.... ''you can, but it's a secret I won't divulge'' type shit. Cut the crap man either you know or you are lying. Only two ways here.

This clown show administration is cutting essential programs and bankrupting the nation in exchange for billionaire breaks. Yet some on here are talking about some Section 8 folks that got over for less than pennies collectively, in comparison.

"The fiscal conservatives,
don't know what their purpose is.
Spend money on the war, then they cut your goods and services."

Transferring to another family member:
  • A voucher holder can transfer their voucher to a family member who is already living with them in the household and is listed as a co-head of household.

  • In some cases, if the voucher holder leaves the household, they may be able to transfer the voucher to a family member already living in the unit.

  • Transferring to a family member not already living in the unit or who is not a co-head of household is generally not possible, except in specific situations like the death of the head of household.
Like I said, there’s way to game the system and no I’m no spelling nothing out cause I don’t know the scam intimately.

That is not gaming the system and that is not what was discussed. Family members who are the primary beneficiaries in need of assistance and are often the reason for the award being granted in the first place are supposed to be cut off and tossed out because the original applicant died (now changed to MOVED since you couldnt find anything to back your original talking point) in your opinion? That's game to you?

You have to be vetted to perform this transfer just like any other government assistance program. Complete misinformation and you know it. Do you have any scruples my guy or do you just like wallowing in conservative filth? Sick shit.

Just to be clear you chose the second option: Lying.

I know a lot of people abuse Section 8, but I think there needs to be a lot more affordable housing first. Average rent here is about $1000 a month. Someone making $16 an hour with kids can't afford that. I think Trump is going to exacerbate the homeless family problem.

What do you think?

Where you live that rent 1k a month? For how many bed rooms?
