I wasn't in DC when DC live or the Ritz (my homies from city have told me about those spots though) was open, but I went to Dream in 2002 a few months before Dipset did the Hey Ma video there....

I think it changed to Love in like 2005 or 2006, a few years after I moved to the area and that joint was lit until around 2011....

Plenty of spots on U Street and Adams Morgan....Weather getting good and it's about to be lit over there....

H Street has a few spots too....

Rosebar on Connecticut Ave....Ozio's a block from there....

The Park (that's the spot everyone goes to) but Happy Hour on Thursday and Friday is nice. Mostly over 30 crowd from like 5 -8pm...Turns into a club after that until around 2 or 3am


Just depends on what kind of vibe you on, but since you just moved up there, just go on U street this weekend and report back...

All those places have a heavy police presence so folks don't be wilding out like that....

Yeah, I remember Dreams. Dreams was more of a mixed crowd iirc. I moved out of Nova around 2003-2004 so I never got to see Love.
