Used to be.. a bit. now I'm just boring and try to stay out of trouble... but it always seems to find me like with those damn multiple hurricanes while I was in Cancun!!

You just maybe that type of person where the universe aligns you with certain events to happen.

Multiple hurricanes in one season for a person that's never been in one prior to 2020 isn't something that happens to just anyone.

Play the Powerball tonight.

I realized as I got older that Bush wasn't dumb at all but as you said just isn't a eloquent speaker.

I also believe that he plays up the perception that he's dumb via self depreciation.

Yeah. I'd never thought anything about it, but it was definitely something that stuck with me from the conversation. It was like... "don't let the way he talks fool you, he's a very capable dude." Biden said that Bush was a loyal dude and delegated.. so if he had you run something, he'd leave you completely the fuck alone until a problem occurred. trusted his people to a fault and said that was the essential problem. By the time anyone realized what Cheney was doing, it was too late. Those are Biden's words not mine. The way he described the neo-conservatives though (Wolfowitz, Cheney, Rumsfield, etc)... like.. we'd have been truly fucked if Trump had those types of guys... because they were just as evil (or even moreso that the people in trump's admin) but they were exponentially more competent and coy.

Ironically Biden said the same thing when I was in his office. He said "Bush is not stupid..he's just inarticulate...and he said that also his problem is that he genuinely trusted his team..and that's problematic when you have someone who is the epitome of a hands-off delegator "

Colin got "super-played" according to Biden...I made a few posts about it

The neo-conservatives wanted to use Iraq because of it's oil assets and because of it's central location to attempt to push democracy into the region... but EVERYONE told the neo-conservatives the shit wouldn't happen... Iraq has 4,000 years of history fighting occupation and outside philosophies...

I don't think we need to have an "ally" as much as we need to stop our unilateral support of Israel and simply need to re-engage the region with a more open mindstate...if we win the youth, we'll win the region... they want change and many feel the Sharia is too restricting..however, you can't win the minds of the youth with bogus wars and nation pillaging.. the neo-conservatives set us decades back..
I wish that post was still here. I wrote a long ass post about it... and going into fadayeen camps in Iraq and shit. I even posted some pics. That was the crazy and dumbest thing I've done in my fucking life. I'm lucky to be alive. I was there when they bombed Wolfiwitz's hotel. I was right across the river.. that shit woke me up

Exactly. Max-Dawg.. read this post I made years ago on the old board after I came back from Iraq. I was on the first non-military flight from Jordan to Baghdad in.Oct 2003

I'm really trying to balance the relief from the constant range of negative energies, remaining vigilant of these white supremacists, and staying focused that the Democrats follow through with the levels of activism that got them elected. Nevermind how much easier this now makes my job...

Joy Reid said "he's the real Black Panther".

Man, for real.

For me, it's less about him protecting the senate chambers, which by default protected some of those fag racists, but the symbolism of the Black Man's fortitude to this country.

This is no different than the Black men that were in the chambers in 1776 as slaves when the Declaration of Independence was being signed or the Black men that fought in the American Revolution and Civil War. Or the Black men that fought in WWI & WWII.

We do recognize this country as ours because this is our home and while we are trying to change what goes on the inside of our home, we still protect it.

Beautiful job of the former stripper; but then again
for a person who used to shake ass before men, any
kind of performing should not be a problem
