Is this the End of America as we Know It?

no doubt...everything about what the neo-conservatives did under Bush's 8 year administration illustrates short-sightedness

you know I'm one *probably the only* Bush supporter on here, and I agree with the fact that he listened to the wrong people. Colin would of won this war by time election 06 would of been starting.

I'm not debating you on the dollars vs euros debate because I can see how that's possible. Do you not buy the fact that we do need a solid ally in the Middle East though?

All societies are ruled top down, pyramids, ponzis. America is no different structually than China even though China claims to be socialist. What makes it work is the education systems. Every country trains its people to think a certain way. The over-riding principle is the few rule the majority, that wouldn't be a problem if they did it with some fairness and equality but they don't.

very early.

I'm not trying to be coy Brah... with all the things I've revealed on BGOL.. one day if it becomes necessary, someone could put the pieces together:lol::lol::lol:

Smart cat. It's best to stay in the dark where ppl can't make out your face. Keep dropping that knowledge, tho. It's needed.

Thank you 4 the pearls of wisdom.

I don't think it was short-sightedness.

I think that perceived reality was created by Cheney but they were fully aware what the deal was.

Remember this video I posted awhile back?

Ironically Biden said the same thing when I was in his office. He said "Bush is not stupid..he's just inarticulate...and he said that also his problem is that he genuinely trusted his team..and that's problematic when you have someone who is the epitome of a hands-off delegator "

Colin got "super-played" according to Biden...I made a few posts about it

The neo-conservatives wanted to use Iraq because of it's oil assets and because of it's central location to attempt to push democracy into the region... but EVERYONE told the neo-conservatives the shit wouldn't happen... Iraq has 4,000 years of history fighting occupation and outside philosophies...

I don't think we need to have an "ally" as much as we need to stop our unilateral support of Israel and simply need to re-engage the region with a more open mindstate...if we win the youth, we'll win the region... they want change and many feel the Sharia is too restricting..however, you can't win the minds of the youth with bogus wars and nation pillaging.. the neo-conservatives set us decades back..

If the ultimate goal was really only to destabilize the region and fatten the pockets of the military-industrial complex, then that is true...and the second part is definitely part of the equation. However, I truly belief that many of the neo-conservatives (even by judging the philosophy of the The New American Century) honestly believed that the people were just going to fall into our hands and a democracy would just instantly result.....however, considering how "sinister" the organizations are behind things can be...destabilization and nation-building could have been the only goal.. a lot of money in nation-building.the increase in Haliburton's market cap under Bush's administration is a testament to that.. and we all know Cheney's connection to Haliburton...it's all such a fucking mess it's hard to sort it all out...

I didn't check that video yet... gonna watch it now

I agree with the youth thing. However, we do need to support Israel only because they are really our ONLY true ally in that region. However, religiously speaking, they are all our brothers *that's if you go by the bible*, so we really need everyone to be on the same page. Israel do need their own country, same with Palestine. The Palestinians need to understand that fighting Israel only weakens their stance on what they truly want in the long run. That's if they want to have their own country.

BTW, do you really think Israel needs our help outside of money?

Unilateral support of EVERY decision Israel makes is the true problem for the U.S. in the Middle East. Israel often acts as a tyrant... case in point.. the action they took in the west bank just before Obama took office. None was was killed or injured from those missile attacks.. yet Israel decides to completely pummel Palestinian neighborhoods resulting in scores of innocent people being killed.

It's true that Israel is the only real democracy in the region. However, they do our image more harm than good..and I'm not even going to discuss the bullshit that Mossad does...even against the U.S...which further questions Israel really being an "ally" or simply just our "pimp".... as I've said before.. it's nothing but a puppet act and Israel is the ventriloquist.

Yes. The 3 Billion in cash annually and the weapons deal pail in comparison the "validation" we give Israel in the world's eyes.. especially with our media's complete compliance with Israel's action.. You can't say anything negative about Israel if you are a politician without it being political suicide...

Find a thread I started about the "real reason we invaded Iraq"..from a few years ago. It was an old post I wrote after I came from Baghdad shortly after the war "ended"...but it explains why the U.S. dollar's status as the world's reserve currency is really the only thing that holds that stack of cards up...and the U.S. will war with other countries over it... Oil was the secondary issue.. we were in Iraq to combat the Euro... my post explains it.

Petro dollar warfare.

Did you watch the video or do I have to put Lulu on your case

:hmm:

I watched the video just now :lol::lol:

Yeah...i remember this and I didn't actually watch the video.I saw an article about this too and didn't even read it...

:eek::eek: :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Ok..well... my argument is dead.. you're right...this dude knew exactly what would happen..Cheney is really is on some shit... OMG :smh:... this dude is like an evil mastermind..that just sits in the background pulling all the fucking string... if there is a HELL... he's got a first class ticket

Btw..don't just hate the "babble-heads"... this woman defending Cheney is just a pitiful excuse for a human being

edit..it actually seems like a bit of both..the last part kind is kind of what I was getting at.....However, the over-riding point about you saying that it wasn't shortsightedness is DEFINITELY true...know way he made that statement seven years earlier and then not know what would happen...

and one more thing..it's this type of shit that makes me hope there is really a heaven and hell..because Cheney will never pay in this lifetime for all the blood he has on this hands...

I'm doing some reading this morning and my head is fucking swirling from the bullshit..........

One word, Robert Rubin.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Rubin

Robert Rubin: What meltdown?

In a talk on Wednesday, the Citigroup director said the current financial upheaval is just cyclical. And none of the blame that there was to assign went to Wall Street.
http://money.cnn.com/2008/01/31/news/economy/rubin_benner.fortune/

We need to make a thread with his connections on it.

I volunteer you because my ass might disappear here in America

:hmm:

Ok Kaya..I'm going to really look into this cat today

"In January 2009, Rubin was named by Marketwatch as one of the "10 most unethical people in business"

Beyond that, look at his team.

He is co-chair of CFR, founder of Hamilton Project (brookings institute) and Africa Progress panel, all double speak organizations.

:smh::smh::smh:

Brookings Institution
Their stated mission is to "provide innovative and practical recommendations that advance three broad goals: strengthen American democracy; foster the economic and social welfare, security and opportunity of all Americans; and secure a more open, safe, prosperous and cooperative international system
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hamilton_Project
Africa Progress Panel

The Africa Progress Panel (APP) was formed as a vehicle to maintain a focus on the commitments to Africa made by the international community in the wake of the Gleneagles G8 Summit and of the Africa Commission Report in 2007

Today President elect Obama officially introduces his economic team to the world. What many may fail to recognize however is the fact that those tasked with rescuing the economy are the very people who helped create the financial crisis in the first instance.

We already know that the team will include Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary; Lawrence Summers as head of the National Economic Council; Peter Orszag as director of The Office of Management and Budget; and Jason Furman, Austan Goolsbee and Jack Lew in other senior economic positions.

The man that ties almost all these people together is former Treasury Secretary and current Citigroup executive Robert Rubin.

Rubin is as much to blame for the creation of the current financial crisis as Alan Greenspan is, as both men ignored the advice of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and strongly opposed the regulation of derivatives.

Over-exposure to credit derivatives of mortgage-backed securities - or credit default swaps (CDS) was a key reason for the failure of Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, American International Group, and Washington Mutual in 2008.

At Citi, Rubin was one of the grand strategists of the speculation in securitized loans, on November 4, 2007, he became the Chairman there.
Rubin is also currently co-chairman of the board of directors of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Group of Thirty.

Every one of the afore mentioned economic “experts” to be appointed by Obama, with the exception of Skull and Bones representative Austan Goolsbee, is a protégé of Rubin.

Furthermore, as the New York Times pointed out in a weekend feature:
Even the headhunters for Mr. Obama have Rubin ties: Michael Froman, Mr. Rubin’s chief of staff in the Treasury Department who followed him to Citigroup, and James P. Rubin, Mr. Rubin’s son. All three advisers - whom Mr. Obama will officially name on Monday and Tuesday - have been followers of the economic formula that came to be called Rubinomics: balanced budgets, free trade and financial deregulation, a combination that was credited with fueling the prosperity of the 1990s

:smh::smh::smh:

I'm still on it Kaya... getting more disgusted with every article....

Today I turned a new chapter............

This is deeper than I thought because now Robert Rubin seems to be a major player that I didn't know about.

e.g

"Even the headhunters for Mr. Obama have Rubin ties: Michael Froman, Mr. Rubin’s chief of staff in the Treasury Department who followed him to Citigroup, and James P. Rubin, Mr. Rubin’s son. dat nigga is bgol's own BLACK OO7.

E, man, you are one of a few people on this board that I ask myself "Who is this dude, REALLY". You know? You constantly drop knowledge that is way above the normal "pay-grade". I'm talking G-14 material. Because of the anonymity on this board we are left only to wonder who everybody REALLY is. But to talk with a cat that was in the same room when all of these discussions happened makes you think. Hell, because of the anonymity we could be talking with senators, CEOs, heads of state, ball players, musicians, the whole nine and not even know it. BGOL is the best spot online.

Yeah man. and often wonder who lurks here as well..

I meant about my personal identity...in terms of connecting the dots.

I'm on to you masked man . . . Your secret identity is safe ambassador . . . I'm mean um. . . . never mind.

SOMEBODY'S got to keep the "Jokers" out.:lol:

I said this a couple of years ago. The dollar will totally crash in the next year or so. This is necessary so that the Amero can be introduced as the currency of North America (Canada, US and Mexico). Its already been minted and is sitting in storage centers. Google it. The days of the dollar are numbered.

We keep hearing this but we shall see..........

Russia, China etc already had a meeting late last week about moving away from the USD as the currency of trade and instead using a basket of currencies.........

Yes it is. All nations need to be given an equal say in what goes on on this planet.

BTW lets acturally use the U.N for what it was created for, and get away from the nonsense they do.
