This sister stays on point.
Bravo!
She literally addressed your claim in her tweetyeh becuase being on a conservative propaganda outlets smacks of authenticity......
Nah, disagree, the 'disconnect' comes from the fact that there are some folks who may believe that "change".... and "reparations"... will most likely come from putting pressure on the establishment. Not from sitting out elections.I just realized we living in 2 percieved different worlds.
In one world, Black people are getting displaced by gentrification en masse.
We have the highest unemployment numbers.
The highest incarceration rates.
We earn like 60cents to every $1 a cac earns
Our family's are like $1000 liquid where the cac family is worth $250k.
In the other world, Black people are all BGOL millionaires fucking dimes daily, and driving 2019 AMGs at worst.
Living in penthouses and taking months long vacations to Africa fucking Ethiopian and Eritrean princesses.
And that's where the disconnect comes from.
One group thinks that we need restorative justice through our government, which is their jobs btw.
The other thinks the government doesnt owe them anything and therefore are happy to vote just to vote.
Very unfortunate.

Shit is chest not checkers and when black folks truly understand this then maybe we can get ahead. Local elections are just as important as National elections. Republican voters understand this, stacking the high courts with conservative right wing judges is what they do and if Trump wins again then he will appoint more conservatives to the Supreme Court but hey black folks who don't vote will have proven their point I guess...Nah, disagree, the 'disconnect' comes from the fact that there are some folks who may believe that "change".... and "reparations"... will most likely come from putting pressure on the establishment. Not from sitting out elections.
And the 2 types of PRESSURE I am talking about are...
1) Financial PRESSURE >>> that comes from organized nonviolent actions (like boycotts) like what MLK did.
2) Or Financial INFLUENCE >>> that comes from Lobbying to get what you want.
Here you go....
Look at The NAACP for example... they are the LARGEST, ORGANIZED (SPECIAL INTEREST) POLITICAL GROUP THAT LOBBIES ON BEHALF of the BLACK COMMUNITY.
https://www.opensecrets.org/federal-lobbying/clients/summary?cycle=2019&id=D000054075
Look at how much the NAACP spent on Lobbying efforts to enact change...... only $550k in 2019.
The reality is that big companies, labor unions, trade associations and other influential organizations spend billions of dollars each year to lobby Congress and federal agencies. Some special interests retain lobbying firms, while others have lobbyists working in-house.
Look at The National Association of Realtors, for example.
They are the #2 on this list of the "Biggest Spenders" on Lobbying.
https://www.opensecrets.org/federal-lobbying/top-spenders
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...ord-26-million-on-lobbying-amid-state-battles
Since 1998, the Realtors have spent WELL OVER $600 MILLION DOLLARS in Lobbying, trying to influence government policy.
Compare that number to the NAACP's efforts since 1998... the MOST that the NAACP has ever spent in a single year is LESS than $1 Million Dollars in lobbying.. which means that the NAACP has probably spent LESS than $12 Million Dollars (total) in Lobbying since 1998.
Over $600+ Million.... versus... Less than $12 Million.
Exactly who is going to be getting 'their calls answered' FIRST on Capital Hill??
Especially when the National Association of Realtors is just ONE 'special interest' group.
And there are literally THOUSANDS of 'special interest' groups that have Lobbyists working together.
So while all these other special interest groups are spending THAT kind of money to get their needs addressed.... exactly HOW does 'sitting out the election' begin to INFLUENCE anyone on Capital Hill to address your own issues? Hmm? Do tell.
One of the biggest problems is that some of ya'll are quick to DISMISS the black folks who realize that YES, "we need restorative justice through our government"... but we also recognize that SITTING ON YOUR ASS & NOT VOTING ACCOMPLISHES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TOWARD ANY OF THOSE OBJECTIVES & ISSUES THAT YOU CARE SO MUCH ABOUT.
It literally has the opposite effect when everyone else's vote is cast on Election Day... but not yours.
Very unfortunate.

I'm proud to say I don't vote!!!!
Voting have done nothing for the black community!!!!!!

Interesting take for those who can digestWish there was more nuance on this board. Ofc the Biden candidacy is a joke. Ofc his self inflicted gaffes are un-fucking-believably retarded... ofc! Ofc there's a strong likelihood that the DNC has turned another "gimme" election into a contested nightmare that will see the most garbage person of all time reelected to the POTUS seat again. Pretending otherwise isn't credible or serious.
And ofc there are enough tangible differences between these garbage ass parties that reasonable adults will hold their noses and vote for a Democrat again bc the alternative is unacceptable (unless regressive policies and a nightmare economy don't affect black folks lol?).
He won't reply to this.Truth is truth. Biden didn't pass the bill by himself, nor was it just dems that voted for it. show me any of your post where you call out the GOP equally for the crime bill.
I left a really good reply on the preceding page on "not voting"
In what world? Answer = THIS world.Black people are the poorest people,
We dont have financial power;
Black people are leaderless,
We dont have PACs;
We DO have numbers.
In what world is 30 million voters NOT POWER?
I'll wait

.... Not on any world.
That's the problem man. These sorry ass democrats got folks by the balls because the republicans are just that much worse. Folks who have individual success really don't have to play the game unless they want to. They do well no matter who is in charge. Sadly, the black community as a whole seems to do poorly no matter who is in charge. From Clinton to Trump, ain't shit change with the police busting Us on black drivers. Shit is depressing. Shit is just a mess.Wish there was more nuance on this board. Ofc the Biden candidacy is a joke. Ofc his self inflicted gaffes are un-fucking-believably retarded... ofc! Again, that don't matter to individuals who have found success, but to some that means the difference between having a home or being homeless. That's the problem man. But we do see the differences. Right now, republican senate wants businesses to be immune from lawsuits, wants to stop the additional 600, and doesn't want a stimulus. Democrats will give a stimulus and would extend the 600. Both parties have their pet projects and make sure corporations eat first, but republicans are basically telling Americans to kick rocks.Again, that don't matter to individuals who have found success, but to some that means the difference between having a home or being homeless.

The most ignorant comment I've ever seen here.I'm proud to say I don't vote!!!!
Voting have done nothing for the black community!!!!!!
Black people been voting since the '60s and the KKKops are still killing us!!!! Shit ain't changed!!!!! Lots of black people was being killed by the KKKops when that gay marriage loving Obama was in office!!!!!
Well keep reading, they'll be more in this thread. The most ignorant comment I've ever seen here.
More ignorant than the raw comments? The most ignorant comment I've ever seen here.
This is your king !!
He left the basement.
Reading the YouTube comments is hilarious
for you and the other dishonest people asking,Reading her tweet there seems to be two different arguments at play. I don't think anyone is saying don't ask for what you want from any candidate. I think the issue comes in when people say don't vote unless you get what you are asking for. The obvious question is how are you going to get what you asking for, if you are not voting to help get that person in office? They can't do anything for you sitting at home tweeting about what the elected officials are doing or not doing.
If all this is strictly about Biden (which seems to be the case), he can't do anything for you unless he is in office, no matter how many campaign promises he makes.

broke bum nigga babbleHere's an analogy - If you had the option of fucking a fat bitch for four years, fucking a man for four years, or not fucking at all which would choose? None are good choices but I know me personally I'm fucking the fat bitch. There are no really viable options but you need to choose. Some of you mfers are fucking the man under the guise that if they see us not choosing them they will lose weight. While others are choosing not to fuck which only works everybody decides not to fuck which will never happen. So in this situation everybody needs to make a choice and work on the next four years making sure fat bitches don't get chose for the election but right now that's all we got.
what part of my statement is dishonest? It's not like I said Biden passed the crime bill all by himself no help from the GOPfor you and the other dishonest people asking,
why should we help a person even get there when they arent even mentioning doing for us?
I gives no fucks about symbolisms, or the lesser of 2 evils trash.

Sheeit. Bidens was a crackhead. How ironic. The Pope Disapproves. The flaw with @LordSinister argument is that it assumes that everyone locked up by Biden was hard core criminals with bodies piled up with million dollar yachts and such.
Most people went in for the smallest drug and it was MANDATED into law that you had to automatically get a harsh sentence.
One of the racial aspects were Black people and white people do the same amount of drugs. White people do powder cocaine- Black people do crack cocaine. Yet Biden wrote in that the 100:1 ratio in favor of lighter sentences for the "white version" of the drug.
but Trumps mean news paper ad>>>>>over Biden Law right?
i started a thread on that the day it dropped.what part of my statement is dishonest? It's not like I said Biden passed the crime bill all by himself no help from the GOP
As for Biden, here is his "black" plan...straight from his website for anybody with an internet connection can take the time to read.
