KC or 49ers....????

There’s nothing to “Figure out”, it should’ve been called on both catches

That's hand-fighting that happens on every play. Had they not been hand-fighting, he would have had the same amount of separation and
would have caught the ball. That's such a bad call had that been at the end of a game there is no way they would have called it.

Sherman is a hall of Famer but he's washed...torn Achilles didn't help but on top of that he's getting too old to run with these young guns.....nigga need to move to saftey and 9ers need to get some legit corners.

This season Sherman was one of the best CB in the NFL

"He has allowed 27 receptions for 227 yards (all season!) on 51 targets, with one touchdown. Receivers average 8.4 yards per catch. Quarterbacks have a 46.8 passer rating against him."

Actually besides the big play to Watkins in the 4th where he missed jam on Watkin's release, what other plays did Sherman get beat?

1. Both PI calls were correct.

2. Jimmy G didnt have a bad game. He literally had one bad decision (INT) and one bad throw (overthrow to Sanders). The idea that the 9ers need to change QBs cause he didnt have his best game in his first super bowl is ridiculous.

3. Ya'll wayyyyyyyy too hard on Kyle. The 9ers were shredding the Chiefs with play action. I understand that running works great and you have to milk the clock BUT the game wasnt over and play action passes were a good bet too considering how well it was working.

4. Give the Chiefs some damn credit. Last year it was all offense. This year they find a new DC and bring in some real dogs on D. Last night those dogs made it happen.

Thank you! I feel like I’m stuck in a weird matrix!

People don’t know what pass interference is?

And no Jimmy didn’t have a bad game, that missed throw though! o_O

Niners should’ve ran the ball more, they couldn’t stop it.

On the replay in slow motion, it does not appear than he created space with his hands and it was basic-handfighting. I think had they not been hand-fighting, he would have had the same amount of separation. He had him beat, had a yard of separation, and he's faster than him and the ball was out in front of him. The hand-fighting was inconsequential imo.

My bad fell to sleep on some drinking wine shit

It was against Can Newton guess I'm missing the point tho

first SB, Rex Grossman, a Chicago, couldn't read defenses. Threw what he thought was an out ball and Calvin Hayden took it for a pick 6.

I don't think Jimmy G had a "bad" game. That's his ceiling though for the most part. He's really not going to win you the big game. So the question becomes do you want to depend on him and waste a great defense or is he good enough.

I think the Kyle shit was overplayed too. He should have run a bit more, but literally, on the 3rd down, had there not been that defensive PI, it's a different game and one more 49ers drive would have likely ended it. That was a game-changing call and completely flipped momentum.

Besides coming out early with Coleman and not giving Mostert enough carries early, I thought Kyle's play-calling was ok for the most part. Yeah, he should have run it more in the 4th but I don't think there was a meltdown.

Did you notice the defenders shoulders lean back once the “Inconsequential” push took place?

Once pushed, the defenders arms looked like a baby wanting to get picked up! :roflmao:

And you find no issue with that?

The defender is also making contact. I saw the lean in real-time and thought it was PI. On the replay, it's CLEAR the defender has Kittle's right arm in an arm bar and Kittle clears him! lmbaoooo you can't see that? :lol:he literally wraps his arm around kittle's wrist and kittle then pushes him off... that's hand-fighting. That happens all the time. Kittle didn't need the contact...he already had him beat! the db is creating contact to slow him down and kittle clears him. That's not offensive PI. Had Kittle not cleared him, it could have been defensive holding if the ball was in the air and the air-bar continued.

whatever, they lost...i just thought that was a real borderline call.. 49ers didn't lose because of it... now Im no 49er fan, I hate Bosa (respect him as a player though) so i didnt want that CAC to win

That pro football focus stuff huh? Watching the games he can't run with the young guns anymore...he simply can't run like he used to. Like I said earlier that torn Achilles ain't help but I think he's gonna turn 32 years old by the start of next season. Nigga better move to saftey like Charles Woodson

Makes no sense to abandon the run and play action, what they’ve done all year! Dude got to be sick today. Lost two SB he should have won. I said if they have to win with JG arm they’ll lose.

also Matt Ryan is no student of the game. You up by 4 scores and can’t manage the fucking clock? Run the fucking ball dumbass! Hike the mf and run backwards, like Mahomes did! Dumb son of a bitch! Idgaf if the coach or OC called pass plays !

anymore?!! That muthafucka has always been slow. he could never run with burners. That wasn't his game
he got beat at the point of attack in press coverage. Only a couple of DBs would have recovered. Watkins can run and he got a free release when Sherman was planning on jamming him at the line. It was a great release by watkins.

That shit against the Pats was literally the worst coaching job I've ever seen in any sport. It's almost impossible to lose in that situation and they did every fucking thing to lose. Even all the offensive penalties and stopping the clock for the Pats.

They literally could have just taken a knee every snap starting from the 8 minute mark and punted and still probably won

Good point but now the nigga looks mad sluggish

Like DeVante Adams cooked him and Adams ain't a burner like that

But it's never been solely about speed. Adams is a GREAT route-runner. You beat press-coverage at the point of release. 2 yards into the
route and Sherman already had to turn his back to the ball and is behind the receiver. That's all it was. Watkins made a great move right at release. That usually never happens to Sherman because he has great technique and is really strong so he gets his hands on you and throws you off your route. However, with his lack of recovery speed, he's toast if you get a clean release and there is no safety help...it just rarely happens. Literally, that was the only time he really got beat all game.

They both have white gloves on so it should be easy to see. With that said, I “Really” don’t see this grabbing of the wrist that you’re talking about.

We can just agree to disagree.

on a different note, it's amazing how good of a career he's had considering his lack of speed. Sherman can't run...it's all technique and strength. He's fluid and has good burst at the point of attack so usually, he ends the route before it starts. He ran a 4.56 at the combine but he's always looked much slower in pads to me. I bet you he barely runs a 4.7 now.

Last time the 49ers were in the Super Bowl, Kap was the QB. And they lost a close one just like this, right at the end...usually they spend a lot of time talking about the parallels and they start talking about the possibility when the game tightens up at the end.

in the NFC title game, mostert broke Kap's playoff rushing record and they didnt even mention it and the NFL never misses an opportunity to talk up a record being broken

Yup

Exactly, it wasnt perfect in certain spots, but it wasnt a meltdown.

And look, the Chiefs stepped up give these dudes the credit they deserve.

The thing about Jimmy G while he does have a ceiling, how you gonna find someone better?

That is my entire POINT. He's not good enough to go toe to toe with legit tier defenses in the league and BEAT THEM with an all out passing attack. He missed more than 1 throw and he played to Jimmy G's level.

and just before the PI, that 40 yard pass to Hill on 3rd and 15 also opened things up finally for chiefs.. best QB in the game and he made a play. I honestly thought the 49ers played good football but it's a game of inches and maybe if the DB turns his head and Kittle doesnt even put his hand back to get arm-barred that then made him push out of it a bit, it's a different game. 49ers just didn't get the breaks.

The problem becomes replacing him. You'd have to trade him and draft a QB (and do you want to put that into an unproven rookie's hands)... or you'd have to trade him and then try to get someone on the open market? but who?

It is a game of breaks.

Watching the Pats the last 20 years showed us that.

Maybe take a shot at Cam?

They dont have any cap space though.

i`m gonna find the game n post from when frisco had possession up 10 with 8 mins left n they ran one time ...:hmm:

each play is like roughly 50 mins right factor in length of play ..n play clock ...lets say 45 ...

even if they didnt get the 1st which i doubt the way they were running it ...KC gets the ball back with a lil over 5 mins or less...

KC scores in lets 4 mins ...shit even 3 ...they still up by at least 3 at the 2 min warning...

i like those odds than throwing on every down trying to win Porn Star Jimmy the MVP....

n then this dumb cac adds insult to injury runs out of bounds...throws n incomplete ..runs out of bounds...shit took 8 seconds off the clock ...

i gotta laugh ....lol....scary ass ...slide or take the hit ...shit throw it away u out the pocket ...:hmm:

If Kyle a genius frisco y`all can have him...Shawn nutted up the same way last yr ...both got schooled by Vet coaches when it came down to it...:D

oh damn... havent looked their cap situation to see how much damage trading Jimmy G would do but that would be an interesting landing spot for Cam...but i think the 49ers are going to stick with Jimmy G...

The last one had Thomas being held by the arm.

Why would the broadcast team discuss Kap?
You’re anti Kap trolling is blatant and pathetic. His was the last 49er team in a Super Bowl. That’s relevant to Super Bowl discussion. Last time the 49ers were here was 8 years ago etc. why wouldn’t that be mentioned!?!?? Doesn’t matter that they lost they were in the Super Bowl but they ignored it making it seem like Steve Young’s team was the last 9ers Super Bowl team. FOH with your non sense

Teddy Bridgewater Wouldnt be a Bad Pickup Either
