Pelicans gonna end up kicking themselves if they don't snatch up this deal. They'd be practically gutting the Lakers and getting rid of a bad contract.
Reeks of the Melo deal that gutted the Knicks a few years ago. Lakers would regret giving up that much for ADLol, the deal is off the table. If Kyrie walks good luck getting a decent deal from Boston.
I know the king is old and falling apart but 4 youngsters and 4 first round picks and a bad contract? Naw Magic, give up 2 kids and a 2nd round pick next time.
No it wontGood to see the Pelicans stand their ground. The deal will always be there.
I disagree I think Bron was too forward thinking it just so happened to be magic
Same way it just so happened to be pat Riley
Yeah, and I think they started to realize that.Reeks of the Melo deal that gutted the Knicks a few years ago. Lakers would regret giving up that much for AD
No it wont. Pelicans are run by morons.Good to see the Pelicans stand their ground. The deal will always be there.
Yeah, and I think they started to realize that.
Word is, other GMs around the league were pressuring Demps NOT to make this deal right now.For some reason, I'm picturing Ainge out there lurking like a hyena in the tall grass waiting to steal the lion's kill. Now when the Lakers gutted the squad in the 70's for Kareem it paid off cause they had a number 1 pick coming 4 years later.
This trade was 1 hamstring or ACL from 10 more years of bottom dwelling.
They already have to watch D'Angelo on the allstar squad and Julius balling. At least 1 of these 5 will make an allstar team in the next 5, mark my words.
Just go ahead and fire Luke.
Yep.This trade was 1 hamstring or ACL from 10 more years of bottom dwelling.

There is too much speculation, too much of people saying that they think the Pelicans should do (because they are emotionally tied to the Lakers) and never look at it from the other end.

Yea but it all reeks of bullshit and incompetence when you see the last offer that was on the table. You also have a track record of fuck shit and managerial failures to take into consideration.
Common sense and sound business practices need to take over at some point.. There is absolutely no way you get a better deal than what was reported as the Lakers last offer. And now its become a clown show with organizational incompetence on full display. Now we see why that franchise has been so terrible for so long. You cant wait for the sake of waiting and hoping a better deal comes in the summer. The guy aint changing demands and he dam sure aint changing agents.Demp's track record of fuck shit and managerial failures is more reason to wait, instead of pulling the trigger on this trade.
This isnt true tho. Most people, including media, agents, and other owners want the Pelicans to do just what they are doing now.. There is no push - outside of LA- for them to deal the guy.I said it once and I'll say it again, too many people just want the Pelicans to bend over for the Lakers because they are the Lakers.

Miami was about him joining Wade and Bosh. If Mitch Kupchek was still GM of the Lakers, LeBron would not be there.

I actually wanna see NO blow this now. There bout to punch their ticket to Seattle and Davis can still come to LA in a season outright.![]()
Disagree
Because the munchkin was there when he went back to the cavs.
LeBron does what he wants.
He's from Ohio. He tolerated Gilbert but was powerless last year and never trusted him long term. Without Magic signing KCP a year earlier and clearing space for him to come, Bron wouldnt be a Laker. Bron didnt even demand a trade clause and signed long term. Hes not doin that with no cac GM. Magic is a business icon that Bron wanted to go into a joint venture with.
Again we just disagree
LeBron was done with the Cavs
He wanted to go to handle his Hollywood business and you can't do that from Cleveland.
Made a power move been there not even a year and had 2 shows on air lol
More to come too
Magic just happened to be there and Im glad magic is there and the one attached to this stuff
