There’s no such thing as a “demographic” for a job. There are qualifications. If you know what kind of jobs are coming, it would help to try to get qualified. Out of the jobs coming to the area, there will be more that someone currently living there can get, than there are currently. In other words, Amazon makkng more money for someone qualified for the job than you are. While you sit around speaking for people you never met, nor plan to do anything for.

Yes , the statistics do. Amazon has employed way more people than you or me. Regardless of what dumbass assumptions you can make about who I have or haven't employed, it's a damn safe bet that you haven't employed as many Black people anywhere on the planet as Amazon. I'm responding to your "I care more " schtick. You're not the only one though. Y'all just hate it when I call it out. Amazon is a.company that makes money. They pay people money that pays bills. All of a sudden, just because they're moving into an area WITH JOBS, your schtick is to smoehow make that evil. And you get to play the hero just because you talk about caring, and have the nerve to speak for people onna place you don't live lol. While you talk, somebody is gonna get A job. I'd rather talk about how someone living there can prepare themselves to get some work.
I didn't say or imply they were evil. I merely addressed some of the current concerns of locals and commented on how Amazon would effect those set of issues.

From what I understand , there is some language concerning jobs for some people who currently live there. I'm currently looking for it as well. Ultimately though, it does rest on whoever wants the jobs offered to get qualified for them, no matter where they are. Nothing is guaranteed for anyone. Someone making an idea and developing it into a company for others to come and get some money with them or for them- is the best way I know how to make.a group of people in poor. No one's gonna give anyone anything no matter what has happened on the past. I don't wanna give anyone that impression of anything different.
A few years ago, I stayed at a Holiday Inn in Long Island City off of Beebe Ave and took the train to Manhattan. LIC was a cool, spot with untapped potential. But that commute to Midtown was hell. It was crowded as fuck w/o Amazon. Can't imagine how bad things will get with them.
