n it`s hurting IW bottom line domestically ...knew that summer shit was gonna kill i t...probably still do 7 but its gonna b like pulling teeth with solo nex wk ...

I think it was trying too hard with some of the jokes. I feel almost like I need to see it again just to catch some of the jokes because they threw so many in. Plus the "villain" was sort of wack

I think it will still do pretty well, because even though Solo is opening next week they are a different audience or an addition to

It was times I got bored during the movie when there weren't action scenes. It was just endless corny jokes.

And I like dry humor, but damn. Some of the characters would be saying jokes at the same time.

James Cameron is going to be pissed IF it eventually surpasses Titanic.

Ol' Boy can't stand CBMs.

Seems like it would need a solid $400M additionally to do that.

When it comes to predicting these CBMs and especially Marvel CBMs I have no idea $$$$

We'll see...

BTW saw Dead- Pool....A laugh here and there. No as good as the 1st one in my opinion.

reaction in theater was lukewarm....movie was jus ehh...

this didnt need a summer release...

still doing ok financially tho...almost at half a bill...

but wont make the money the 1st one did...i c it falling off a cliff....

maybe end up low 6`s unless overseas saves it...

i hope this doesnt hurt the R rated superhero genre...1 flop n they will rethink making anymore R rated movies...

I hope infinity war doesn't catch Black Panther domestically. There are a gang of movies dropping in the next couple of weeks, so that will help-

also interesting, (and probably already said) that Black Panther is the only movie on the list to make more money at home than abroad.

Deadpool should of stuck to the June release date. I don’t know why they decide to release it 2 weeks after infinity war along with Star Wars solo. Those 2 blockbuster ate up any potential sales. A movie like Deadpool needs no competition

As far as black panther it made decent money overseas but what got it over the 1 billion is the huge domestic numbers.

Like Galaxy of the Guardians and Iron man it would have done around 600-700 Million. If the domestic was average

It’s coming out August. They release the Blu-ray around 3 months after the movie came out. Black Panther(Feb) comes out May. Infinity wars(May) comes out in August.

They release them quick to try to capitalize on the hype
 
Yea my math was way off lol. Infinity wars should come out around the middle of July. At least the digital copy anyway.

Wrong again. It would come out at the ass end of July. It dropped April 27th and that was after being moved up a week. They have more control over the release date of a movie as opposed to the blu-ray or digital release. Less hands in the pot. Home release dates are more complicated because more people/companies are looking for their cut. The 8/14 release date is still on par with what they do. Not everything is a conspiracy.

Because they did it too soon IMO. I got a copy, but still.
 
Damn Solo may flop.:smh: Too bad Deadpool fizzled I really liked it but I guess I was in the minority.o_O:oops: At least IW will hit the 2 Billion mark I was surprised how quickly it dropped off here since everyone was talking about it on the 'nets.
