The Americans: The 2nd best espionage/spy show on TV

Oh Shit Stan has connected dots....

Ughh this series finale is going to be Fucking tough.

I agree with the previous post and with what I’ve said this season.. everything is lining up for Phillip to Die.

Man Elizabeth has way to much influence on Paige and she doesn’t even see that she has set her daughter up on a dangerous path.

Elizabeth trying to hide all the ugly truths and real dangers - will get Paige killed

the very worst thing Elizabeth did was to encourage Paige in thinking Phil wasn't strong enough for that life...
especially since Phil (based on assets recruited and intel generated over the course of the series) is a much much more effective operator than Elizabeth
There is a very real price to pay for being that good... unless a person is pathological its very self damaging everytime he nurtured and maintained personal relationships solely to manipulate.

That is what I didn't get, why is she hiding so much from Page. Page already saw her kill already you can't walk that back.

Them kids had life nice, didn't have the hardship in Russia or go thru training to become an operative.

I think Page will be the one to get caught and expose them.

Could not agree more.

Something tells me that Paige is going to be all in but man Stan is extremely close now.

I’m dreading the episode tonight because they didn’t show any new scenes in the preview last week.

Firing up...

Man this fucking conversation between Phillip & Elizabeth was Fucking tough... tough but Phillip was speaking 100% truth

Oh Fucking shit!!!!

Stavos knew something was up.. holy Fucking shit!!

For 6 years I was like.. their employees have to be wondering something was up.. and looks like they did.

Oh shit!!!

That kid knows... something was up.
Goodbye Kid... just another Number for Elizabeth’s body count.

i finally know who Elizabeth reminds me of this Season William... not the chick from Last season. William didn’t get along with his partner and he went at it alone and that’s when he started Fucking up.

And holy shit.... the Centre is working against
gorbachev. They are trying to do a military Cue. And Elizabeth finally sees the truth..

Jesus this episode is Fucking killing me... this tension is insane. I can’t stand it.

damn after 6 seasons, countless bodies, elizabeth finally grows a conscience and questions orders
she realizes that she is rocking with a fringe fraction trying to overthrow the government and grandma throwing not so subtle threats

Man this Season has been intense...

It seems like shit is coming down to the summit.. which makes sense since Gorbachev represents the end of the Cold War.

looking at the preview for next didnt realize that the intern Elizabeth went after is the one Paige wanted to make a play for
DAMN

that kid owes his life to Phil for planting that seed about what they do and why

I didn’t notice it either until the preview...

Man William fucking predicted that going solo would be the downfall. ELizabeth became like William.. The absence of the closeness that she felt with Phillip made her die inside.

even though Phil was right she still cant admit and treating him like shit
i've mentioned it before but its buggged how the traditional gender roles are switched between

Elizabeth is the work first, no nonsense, anything for country & no emotions
Phil is the more sensitive one, the better parent, the one waiting up while the spouse is out, the one that gets walked all over on and considered weak

Been like that since the beginning but Phillip dropped one truth.. He was as in it as she was but he was willing to question and she never was until today. The fact that she came back to tell him about the contact and was willing to listen without exploding at him shows that she has grown but I feel it is to late

Stan knows its them so they gonna get caught anyway
Stan probably gonna get clapped up

the reason why this is much more thrilling is because this is the final episodes you don't know if this might be their last seen on the show and years past you always knew that they would make it out of whatever they was trying to do that's why this is great. And if I was stan if I'd knew that they was Russian spies there's no way I would tell I wouldn't want to look like that much of a fool.

Holy shit... they are going back to Gregory and Stan has got Elizabeth’s photo...

Jesus...

This tension is killing me...

Remind me who Gregory is. So many faces and stories on this show over the seasons I can't always keep up when someone from the past is brought in for like five minutes to connect dots.
