Solo right now is projected too only do $150 Million on its opening Weekend. So i highly doubt it will pass $1 Billion Worldwide, let alone do 1.3 Billion. Plus China is not big on StarWars like that.
I hate that they do this. They take a script by some white guy who wrote a really bad script... average script that was rehashed and they give it to a Black actor like it's our movie. It's average because we've seen it before.
There are so many stories out there that can be told I don't see why they have to rehash the same ones all the time
I guess you guys do not understand basic math. Age of Ultron and Avengers Infinity War. Both Did over $200 Million in China. Solo has to do $200 Million in China or it will not cross the billion dollar club.
Solo Numbers Opening are very weak in the USA and UK and it will have to pick up some slack in China, Which it will not, Which is why Solo will not make the billion dollar club.

It was outselling black panther for the first week of sales. So far the number has dropped dramatically. If you book on fandingo you can find alot of empty seats
Also there is a faction wing of the star wars fans that are boycotting solo. Im not that much into star wars so i do not know what the whole beef is about. But that should effect some of its number

I didnt think Avengers was ever going to catch Panther domestically; I would bet Disney didnt either. Even do Panther will fall short of 700mill; doing 698 mill is massive and amazing!!!
