This show corny as fuck. I like some of the characters and I'll take it cuz they do something cool every here and there...but I basically keep watching now so I know backstory on the crossover events. All the Arrowverse shows suffering this season...but them crossover events were all fire so I gotta hold out hope the next one will continue the trend. They give me a weak crossover joint, it'll be Black Lightning only.
I really thought it was going to be Voltron.

I did trip off that cuz I got the reference and that was cool....but I mean...they killed a time demon by cuddle-slamming into the ground real tough? stop. Then Nate causes what should be a massive scale anachronism by not erasing old girl's memory. Like....the saga that preceded this was predicated on a timeline where she didn't remember him cuz her memory was wiped....then he just decides not to do that. That would have undid everything that just happened. But they just not gonna talk about that. Continuity is horrible. Was cool to see Constantine though. I liked his show so I'm always glad to see him. Heard he's a regular next season. They should do Justice League Dark for the next crossover. lol

This season was legit good and the only arrowverse show has been consistent. Camp is the shows niche.. if you like good camp... like a Ash vs Evil Dead or a Xenia.. it’s going to be your show and I like shows that clearly don’t give a fuck. I also think Supergirl is much improved. It’s easily having its best season. Flash and Arrow are struggling.
As for black Lightning.... I’ve got legit concerns about Season 2. While I absolutely love the show. I’ve gotten concerned that in the Later half that’s its tried to cram way to much into these last couple episodes without making a lot of attempts to expand the narrative beyond its core group of characters. I think next week is like the season finale and most of the big plot points have already been exposed. Besides LaLa.... there is an air finality coming up as of the show was written like an event series. The mystical shit with LaLa is probably the big huge mystery that the show will leave open... but they haven’t created enough momentum in it for me to really legit care. For example... LaLa has been reborn for what .. like 3 episodes now.. Jefferson had a relationship with dude... and we are the finale and nobody has even mentioned that LaLa is back. It’s not like he is hiding now...
But the show has room to build this up...... I’m just slightly concerned with what I’ve seen these last couple weeks leading up to the finale. The family drama is just way more compelling then the superhero side. Maybe that’s what they want...but the problem is that eventually the show will lose its since of fun and will turn into a show that feel like you are obligated to watch.

Continuity has always been an issue but the show does acknowledge it.. ... like Ray going back in time to save Nora.
They also changed things by putting Helen of Troy on Warrior island.

You made two low key excellent points....
We complained all season about the Nate and Amayah thing but we also agreed that we liked the character Nate and the relationship was hurting both of the characters... so they made the right move and now the show can go back the amazing Nate, Mick and Ray combination. Ray and Mick haven’t had a good adventure yet.
The other point was Jax... we have been saying that years that it is ridiculous that Jax never got laid on the show... and finally they did right and show Jax having the best life with a kid. And it basically showed us that we don’t have to worry about Jax cause he is happy... but the show is so wild with their zero shits that they could still time travel and put jax back on the ship. That’s what is so cool... like Damien died with an amazing redemption arc and they could bring back in a blink to be full asshole Damien and it would fit right in. Same with Rip... we know Rip is coming back.
Plus they still have to explain.. the need for all the weapons in that secret compartment on the ship that Jax and the Professor found.
