It's confirmed Aple slows down old phones with weak batteries. Enjoy your rape you sheep

GOOFIES
LOL at the hair line

Sure they do. My Note 3 worked just fine when I jumped on the Note 7 and my son still uses it and its almost 5 years old. But every IPhone I've had for work never made 2 good years without slowing to a crawl.
I have iphone 5,6, 6plus that work fine too...Proves nothing

These aren't an attack on Android phones or users... you non sheep can put your claws away.

I am speaking on personal expierence and professional as well.

you non sheep can put your claws away.

Yeah man

Calling everyone else wrong makes you right

Sound strategy
Did I call everyone wrong?

Please quote the post.

Y'll Non Sheep...

New nickname alert Lemmings

Need to chill

I stated my expierence and never once denied apple is slowing phones. I did say Android AND my s7,s6,s5,s3 have suffered the expierence similar to what the article highlights.

I suggested both systems do the same thing, and 5 lemmings all came to the rescue of a multibillion dollar enterprise, attacking me.

This could simply be planned obsolescence. Every manufacturer practices it. It's not exclusive to Apple.
You shut your dirty mouth!

There are no fake opinions allowed. If you don' like Android actions and Samsung's policies... maybe you shpuld go back to BlackBerry

I hate the fact that Apple doesn't give us features like Sam.

Change batt:beatyourass:
Add memory:bullshit:
finally got the flat charge system:fuckyousay:
Sam comes out with shit that motivates consumers to WANT to upgrade. Apple doesn't listen or care about we as customers think. For me I stayed with them bec I was afraid to switch out because I was use to the damn phone and not wanting change I guess. have a 6 Deluxe, not upgrading anytime soon. Galaxy been looking more sweet every upgrade. :idea:Can you hack those MFs like IPhones?

You don't really have to "hack" them because they do everything iphone's do after being jailbroken out the box lol but yeah you can put custom roms and shit.

Yeah, its bullshit. My work phone is an iPhone 6 and the bitch would be at like 50% one minute, then 22% and then completely die... even talked to my coworkers and their phones do the same thing. Luckily my personal phone is a Note8

My Nexus 6P was going the exact same thing. Filed a claim with Google last month even though I was 2 weeks out of warranty. They replaced it with a brand new Pixel XL (2016).

They I traded it in for $420 credit on the new Pixel 2 XL

From Apple:

Our goal is to deliver the best experience for customers, which includes overall performance and prolonging the life of their devices. Lithium-ion batteries become less capable of supplying peak current demands when in cold conditions, have a low battery charge or as they age over time, which can result in the device unexpectedly shutting down to protect its electronic components.

Last year we released a feature for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone SE to smooth out the instantaneous peaks only when needed to prevent the device from unexpectedly shutting down during these conditions. We’ve now extended that feature to iPhone 7 with iOS 11.2, and plan to add support for other products in the future.

The verge writer....

Apple is effectively saying that it’s not slowing down older iPhones just to urge people to upgrade to newer devices. Rather, the company says it’s addressing an issue with devices containing older lithium-ion batteries that results in unexpected shutdowns. Because those older batteries are incapable of handling peak current draws with the same effectiveness of iPhones with newer batteries and more efficient processors, they run the risk of the device powering down to prevent damage to its internal components. The same is true of devices running in extremely cold or hot weather, as evidenced by a recent kerfuffle with the iPhone X shutting down randomly in freezing temperatures

=========

Essentially everything I said in my earlier post. All computing devices go through this.

Response even sounded like a sheep

It is interesting how droid folks throw around the term sheep.
I'm not married to either one, but I had an iPhone 6s Plus and I had it for 2 months. I wasn't impressed to the point where I was swearing by it.

I use talk to text all the time. I'm actually using it right now. It's much easier for me to say what I mean versus texting with my fingers.

The Apple talk-to-text/speech recognition was SHIT-TY. It was always messing up my words to the point it didn't matter if I use talk to text as much as I was correcting the goddamn phone. Android, powered by Google is much better at recognizing the words that are coming out of my mouth (Rush hour), mostly to the point that I I hardly ever have to correct the phone.

I took that iPhone back and went back to Android.

It is and has been well known to anybody but the Sheep that Apple does this and has been doing it for years no other businesses do similar shit (they don't build cars to last), but Apple does that shit as soon as a new phone comes out and this... Is bullshit

But, you like it, I love it. It's your money. You guys are spending $1,000 on a fucking phone and are going to spend another thousand next year for a phone with very minor upgrades. Have at it. It's your fucking money to flush down the drain and get a new phone just because a new phone came out

It just hit me; Apple had that issue with the “I” button showing some random garbage a few months back; and the only way to “fix” it was to update the iOS. I’ll bet that the “I” issue was a Trojan horse to get more old iPhone users to upgrade the iOS; then they slow it down to the point of no return. Slick ass business move on their part.
Nah not the case as that "I" issue was a result of already updating to iOS 11. If you stayed on the previous iOS you wouldn't have that problem

But you can't replace the IPhone battery:dunno:
Yea you can, I've replaced mine myself with a new battery from Amazon or ebay, i forget. I also had another previous iphone battery replaced a few years back too.

I have the same issue with my iPhone 6, although I have yet to upgrade to iOS 11.

This!

Point taken, but I constantly get alerts on my iPhone to upgrade the software. If they know it will slow down older phones, they shouldn't hound the users about upgrading.
they not forcing you to upgrade though :dunno:

fuck you dudes either act like your all in to being black but ahve never read or taught anyone abut our culture . all phones do this and you do know you cant remove the battary in iphones . worry about what you have

Extremely old tech will have that issue (that's not necessary sabotage by the manufacturer). New OS updates take advantage of faster and more powerful processors that also control power consumption.

It's well known that Apple slows down older phones on purpose because it's in their business model that they coax you towards newer phones yearly. Other companies tried to follow that model in recent years.
I got that Note 2 when they were first released. So, its slowing down and the battery going to shit all within a year weren't a result of old tech conflicting with a new OS.

Didn' even see this...

But you are a broke pretend doctor that is defending an OS that you will NEVER profit from

The only thing you are an expert in, is being WRONG, you couldn' even pretend to be a doctor correctly.
You're a fucking idiot . Accept it. You're just a stupid fucking moron that thinks Android is a singularity . Lmfao. Yes you got me I'm mad broke. In fact I'm homeless and I'm using wifi from a nearby hotel in an alley way. I'm so broke. You got me. Dumb fuck. Yes a pretend doctor , yes you're a genius did you Google that on the Android browser?

You had all day...

This is no suprise to me. It's a sales tactic. It's all apart of getting people to keep updating their phones so that they can make more money.
