Dude that's not just isolated to Cavs and LeBron and it's not unreal, it's par for the course. Not saying the hate doesn't exist, but it's not just isolated to them. People want to see GS fail, even before KD, they want to see the Cavs fail, when you are the best at what you do and you have BIG personalities as well, the hate is a normal progression. Notice how, the Spurs have been the winningest most consistent team for what, damn near 20 years now and they don't garner the same amount of hate? They don't have those big personalities...

Shit happens in all sports... NFL, people despise Brady and the Pats, when Floyd was fighting he was the most hated boxer in the sport... Shit happens man...

The Spurs dont get hate because the media tells basketball fans not to hate them. Has nothing to do with "BIG PERSONALITIES", if the media shits on you and talks about you enough you become BIG. Who is hated and who is liked is based on media perception. Thats why dudes on BGOL get mad if you criticize the ones the white media deems as HUMBLE and LIKEABLE like the Spurs. Do a search on BGOL for a Kawhi Leonard troll thread or someone trolling the Spurs when they lose. You wont. All the ones the sports media says you SHOULD be liking get passes, all the ones the media trolls or attacks THEY troll and attack. Slaves.

Respect. That definitely is real rap concerning the Spurs. Big Personalities, Larger than life personalities vs Humble and Likeable, actually the same dynamic in terms of being hated. LeBron wasn't hated until after the decision, which came off as arrogant even if it wasn't his intention. As a matter of fact he was one of the most beloved players until that and that not 1,2,3 speech when he first went to Miami. Same thing with Curry with all the extra shit when he hits a three and KD, who was liked until he started speaking his mind. Floyd too, he was wasn't hated until he became 'Money' Mayweather' then the hate rose. That's what I meant by big personalities so essentially we are saying the same thing just saying it differently.

Tom Brady is universally hated so he's the CAC exception.

Ultimately there is a different standard for us vs them though. Overrated ass Joe Namath was given props for guaranteeing a SB win, but if a black man does it he's ridiculed...

Cavs look strong Bro, but you can't overlook the fact they blew a 25 pt lead, needed a record breaking 3pt performance and HUGE nights from both LeBron and Kyrie to pull out a 5 point win in a game they were dominating against an average team. Them giving up that many points to an offensively challenged team like the Hawks has to be concerning....

What does the warriors have to do with the discussion of the Cavs and Hawks?? Lets not change the subject like you love to do; Im just stating the obvious which is every time the Cavs play the Hawks, the Hawks make them look like super humans; And if they were so called clicking, they wouldnt have lost to Boston the other night; with which their offense was held in check; Nobody did anything except greatness and kyrie; and thats how you should play the Cavs by the way; Now in a series Boston will lose to the Cavs; theres no one going to challenge them out east and you know that; Unless Kyrie or LBJ gets hurt, they will be fine until the finals...

But with a healthy Durant on the Warriors they may go against one of the best teams of all time. Sometimes its not the amount of championships you have sometimes its who you play, the same way Ali may have had a worse record than Rocky Marchegiano but he never fought Frazier, Forman or Liston..

I would take this healthy team over the healthy GS. GS is a top heavy team like those Heat teams were. They don't have much of a bench... even though they don't need 1. Cavs can keep throwing out quality players

They literally have the same guys that made the 2nd unit go replace barbosa with clark and speights with david west.
it is literally the same make up of the team lol.

Also they'd run actual plays at the end of games to close it out
It's fucking amazing to me the wolves decided to fire him to give the team to an unproven cac. Yes he is unproven as a GM and president of Basketball Operations. His resume isn't much better than Mitchell's both been coach of the year and Mitchell did it without an MVP on the team Mitchell also got the most out of his players.
The timberwolves team started slow as they tried to get everything together and by the end of last year they were looking like they were ready to take a step forward and be in the playoffs. they gave every team down the stretch a run for their money and had so much to build on for this season

and then you fire Mitchell

AND NOW them dudes is in the 11 spot.
How does a team with all of that talent end up in the 11th spot this year
after going through the growing pains last year?

With basketball its not always about who is better or who is deeper sometimes its the match ups..
In this case the Cavs have a whole lot of moving parts, a roster that can beat most teams even the Warriors on paper, but the Warriors don't play on paper and they are such a unique team to defend against that it requires the right type of players and communication to stay with them..
The main problem Cleveland may run into is that they may have the right players but with so many players to choose from, the question will be will they be able to identfy who to play and who not to play vs G.S.
Of course you can flip it and say the Cavs too, have unique team, this is true to an extent but the Cavs beat you with pure talent and their high level of play, while with the Warriors its talent and their system they run.. In short the Cavs are a lot more predictable but thats like saying Usain Bolt is predictable also, as opposed to the Warriors who you may have better talent, but if you cannot stop their system it will be lights out.

If GS is healthy yes and Ill take that bet; if healthy; but the Cavs play no defense; You cant outscore your way to the chip, or let me say it hasnt been done yet; And the players they added, none help them against GS; hell they probably wont even play against GS; maybe Derrick Williams but that it; Bogut and/or the Williams will get abuse; and Kyle will be a non factor; just like he was against Boston; Boston went at him every play they could and as a result he was a liability and did nothing; Good teams and good coaches will take him out of the equation; hes not hard to, ask Atlanta; the Cavs best team against GS is a defensive team; and that team doesnt involve Frye Love Korver or the Williams; The problem is now, they cant say well we gonna let Harrison B beat us, which he clearly didnt and/or couldnt :smh:; Replace Barnes with the monster KD and look at the results; big difference; which anyone with a brain could clearly see in the 2 games they played this year....

No Barbosa, Speights, Bogut the year earlier. This 2nd unit isn't as good as they were. No shooting in the 2nd unit.

Clark replaced barbosa. west replaced speights bogut be hurt he was hurt this year. replaced him with zaza and mcgee.
there's shooting in the 2nd unit you just don't care to watch any of the games fam and that's all good.

Jumpshooting teams start missing late in the playoffs when them legs get tired and the physicality catches up to them. Bron almost beat them by himself 2 years ago. I agree with taking some of the players out, but when 4 players on the court at all times can shoot, they can't take everybody out the game like you suggest.

Spurs get a pass every year. That's cool in some regards because Pop has earned passes.
However people like Aldridge haven't earned shit.
Lillard hasn't missed the playoffs since Aldridge has been gone and Aldridge missed the playoffs plenty without Lillard.

You dont need a good 2nd unit in the playoffs; they barely play; that was one of Kerr downfalls as well; he would play the 2nd unit to long; and stats wise GS 2nd unit this year is better than it was last year; actually all numbers are better this year than last year; Teams go 8 maybe 9 deep in the playoffs and thats it; So thats McGee Livingston Iggy and West, and thats it; maybe clark plays a little and mccaw plays but thats it; and maybe Barnes and Mcadoo play spot duty, 2-5mins but thats it; very solid off the bench; they will be more than fine once KD is fully healthy...

What do you think the Cavs are sir?????????? You guys dont really watch basketball I can tell; outside of the Spurs who beat Miami, every team for the last 6 years has been a jump shooting team; please just stop it....

Some players get drafted as superstars but are better off as roll players... With teams like the Knicks their main problem is that they often play people out of their roll, often this hampers their development.
With the Cavs as great as their roster appears to be, 90% of them are roll players who knows exactly what roll they must play, knowing what your roll is and being able to practice and home in on it, day in and day out, makes the game much simpler and less confusion, And with Williams he appears to be more mentally focus on what the Cavs needs from him.

I thought about creating a betting app:roflmao:but I didnt want the feds like :tut::gun01:; And yes you have watch more Cavs games then me; thats not what I asked; I stated do you watch basketball; because if you do then you would realize every fucking team in the NBA is a JUMPING SHOOTING TEAM; it doesnt matter if its drive and kick or motion; its still jump shooting; and if you look at how boston defended them the other day, thats exactly how you suppose to play Cavs; make it tough as you can for LBJ and Irving, but they will get theres regardless; and take away everyone else; which is easy to do because no one else can create their own offense; thats why the role players all sucked in that game; its called smart coaching; now that doesnt mean Boston or anyone in the east will beat them; I fully expect the Cavs to come out of the east; so we should get a 3 peat of the finals teams...

They are definitely trigger happy, but Lebron and Kyrie love taking it to the rack. Remember how Bogut spooked them last year? Sparked runs, and then sat down.

Cavs all over the place offensively if we get down to it. I just hope everyone is healthy come playoff time. Shit will be great IMHO. Already witnessed a chip for them, so I'm happy.
