Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

Steph was fine imo. he missed 3's but he took it to the rim a trillion times and he almost never gets an and 1. they don't even think about blowing the whistle to give him an and 1 and there is always contact.

klay was the culprit.
he had wide open shot after wide open shot. 50% of the easy shots he missed which weren't all from 3 he missed layups as well he makes those it's a win.

still sleep walking and no idea about the rotation tonight.

We must've watched different games. Steph was not good tonight. Not of his caliber.

i didn't say he was good i said he was ok he played fine he wasn't bad but he wasn't great either. he attacked the rim which kinda made up for the open shots he missed.
like i said klay was just wide open running specific plays getting him wide open shots and he was bricking. from 3, midrange and layups

One thing you have to tip you hat to Curry is that when his jumper isn't falling he looks for different things to do, Thompson does this to an extent but when he is cold he is a little to reliant on jump starting that jumper..

16 3's.. Like he got a deep ball... And he wonder why Durant left..
Last game he looked like a guy who starts off a marathon running like Usain Bolt with a 20 block lead, and everyone hailing him as the greatest marathon runner ever but as soon as he hits mile five he collapse and passes out then everyone passes him.

But at least Kobe won rings doing that wild shit.
True.

He was more bad then good. You the best player on the court. He didn't play like it yesterday.

Steph and Klay got tired legs again and Russ just needs to trust his teammates and pass the dam ball . he took some bad shots last night

I'm liking what I'm seeing from Justin Anderson... Giving Melo fits on D, hitting shots, I'm liking this kid! Young boy has heart, all in Melo's head so far!

Damn!!! This Hawks/Cavs game just got good as fuck! How the hell did the Hawks go from 25 down to down 1

Edit---Korver coming to Atlanta and giving them a 3 dagger though

Man Listen... .They froze that motherfucker out for like 20 mins he was like FUCK THAT and hoisted that shit up!! AD was wide open and shit!! I was over here CRYING and immediately thought about your heckling ass!!! :roflmao:
Man I dam near died laughing when he brought the ball up like he was Westbrook and jacked that fucked up fade away contested 3. A fucking airball.
They need Sam Mitchell.
Boogie wanna be a guard man. The entire game dude floats around like a guard. His big ass loves shooting 3s too. Davis isnt much better in that regard either, hes just a far more skilled and talented player. Spurs did everything in their power to give NO that game... They were not having it tho.

Nobody played particularly well tonight for GS.

I feel like they going through the motions a little bit.

For some reason the Steph from the past 2 years still aint back. Im starting to wonder if that dude is gone for good.
That Steph has not been needed. Having Durant created a situation where they go nothing but easy shots. Now everyone has to reset and go back to being playmakers. I think it will take a few games

38, 13, and 8 last night for Bron
43 for Kyrie
25 3 pointers made?
JR Smith bout to come back, Love later this month

Cavs clickin right now
You know whats crazy, for a guy who supped to be only a layup bully or as one on BGOL member claimed a glorified Dominique Wilkins, LeBron has a real shot of passing Kobe and reaching top ten in all time three pointers, not to mention right now he is destroying Kobe in 3pts career %..
Wonder where Dominique is on that list..:hmm:

It's crazy. Derrick Williams is jacking up three 3s a game and is shooting 42 percent on them through 9 games. Basket gets big when you have open looks. A guy with a career 3-point shot percentage in the fucking 20s is gaining confidence fucking around with Lebron.

He's played well. Unfortunately its as LeBrons teammate so we need to be scrutinizing him for "helping". NO ONE is supposed to be helping him win chips or wanting to play with him. It makes the league "weak" and "soft". The league is STRONGEST when Cavs lose and we can get our Skip Bayless on.

Yeah... the amazing is, when they were struggling, just like all greats should do, LeBron picked up his level of play end of Jan-ish, and maintained the high levels though Feb while the rest of the team adjusted to the trades and additions, and now they seem to be jelling. Atlanta made a run last night, but overall, if they can get 70% of the overall production last night, from everybody else because LeBron is going to be LeBron, they definitely can be scary good because they can score with ANYBODY!!! Derrick Williams looks like a great pick up and if D Will can give them quality minutes?!?!? Da Fuck is LeBron shooting damn near 60% from 3 over the past month though... Dude is un-guardable at this point :smh:

The Cavs and Lebron hate is unreal. But I will say this. He has no excuses if this team is healthy during the playoffs. He's surrounded by the type of players he needs. Team is fucking 12 deep. :smh:

Yall played no defense. The Hawks scored 130 pts. The fucking hawks

With a healthy JR an Love, this is easily Brons most talented cast! The Heat was too heavy! With no rebounding, or size. This time has it all

Like I keep saying. They play no defense. Derek Williams, DeronWilliams, Krover, Love, Frye, Kyrie play no defense. They gave up 130 to the hawks. That game last night was pathetic

Dude that's not just isolated to Cavs and LeBron and it's not unreal, it's par for the course. Not saying the hate doesn't exist, but it's not just isolated to them. People want to see GS fail, even before KD, they want to see the Cavs fail, when you are the best at what you do and you have BIG personalities as well, the hate is a normal progression. Notice how, the Spurs have been the winningest most consistent team for what, damn near 20 years now and they don't garner the same amount of hate? They don't have those big personalities...

Shit happens in all sports... NFL, people despise Brady and the Pats, when Floyd was fighting he was the most hated boxer in the sport... Shit happens man...

True.. no way in the world that game should have been that close at the end. I turned it off when it was 92-67, next thing I know the Hawks were down 1, and they don't have that type of explosive offense. As much as I love Kyrie, Dude doesn't play ANY defense, and when he's confronted with a PG who has offensive skills, his lack of defense cancels out what he does offensively (i.e. the boston game against Isiah Thomas). He's inconsistent with his ball distribution. Fucking frustating when he has 30 points but only gives you 37 total points on Fanduel

LeBron is ALWAYS going to be LeBron, you just can't win depending on 40 plus from Kyrie. They won that game last night by 5, BUT the caveat that can't be ignored is they needed 38 and damn near a triple double from LeBron and 43 from Kyrie... :dunno:

I dont trust the Spurs at all; they should have lost to the Pacers too; their holes will be exposed in the playoffs again this year; but boogie:smh:, I cant give dude benefit of the doubt anymore:smh:

And didnt they set a record for 3s; They will get to the finals because I dont see anyone in the east beating them unless Kyrie goes down; as long as KD comes back good, GS will beat them in the finals though...
