Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

We played good defense last night. Did not shoot particularly well
But that's the point of playing good defense, so you can win when you don't shoot well. They were just missing wide open shots too Curry and Durant usually make those few at the end to close it out.
6/17 wasn't good for Curry
8/16 is a durant night and Klay..within the flow..keeps getting the most shots because you just can't pay attention to him when the other 2 are on the court, and he learned how to dribble so you can't play him to just catch and shoot.
once he develops a crossover? shiiiiit

Dubs have definitely kicked it into gear as of late.

Team is trying to figure it out. Still haven't gotten it to machine like which is a testament to their will so far. Just run the offense and help on defense.
I see McGee playing 25 minutes plus on deck next calendar year.

Yup these are the nights you supposed to survive and fight. Like I said, every single game they play is a statement game for the other team so it don't even matter if it's november 28th in oakland, the hawks are trying to say we're here and we can beat the warriors so respect us.
that's what it's like for them every single night.
like that for the cavs too but the cavs are in autopilot like they should be.

Love is doing work; It will be interesting this week to see how he does against the Clips

I think so much has to do with confidence. What seemed like a great fit to SOME, lead to some awkward shit. I think if they lose that series last year, Love is just done with the team. Everyone gets more respect after last year from the coach to Love. And it's not like the guy was shit. He almost led the Timberwolves to the playoffs in the tough ass western conference.

But playing with 'the man' is a different story. You have to fall back. Bite your tongue. Remember the problems with Kyrie? Like 0 assists in a game for a PG. Blatt looking like a school boy trying to tell grown men what's good? Wade, Bosh, and Bron were friends well beforehand. Irving and Love didn't know Bron like that.

All relationships take work, but when a cat like Bron is basically the owner of the team, they take much more work IMHO.

True true; His confidence is up; Im not sure I believe it yet because I feel his play is in large part because of their schedule; But I give him credit; you play who is in front of you; Cant control the schedule but one can control his play; and hes playing, so good for him....

The evolution of Kevin Love: 2014-15: 16ppg, 9rpg, 36% 3pt% 2016: 21ppg, 10rpg, 43% 3pt% #LovingIt

Man kerr don't even wanna play mcgee 10 mins a night:giggle:;good win though; hawks came to play; dubs gonna win 70 without even trying, like @Selfscience said; 7th on defense and 1st on offense without even totally figured it out yet:smh:; people sleeping but their defense come playoff time gonna be better than last year....

Defense has been on point lately

Cavs had nice 1st(was in the bonus with 8mins to go), then got sloppy and cold in the 2nd...

JR been broke from deep...

Thanks for Uncle Drew

The Bucks got a damn good roster...
Micheal Beasley and Greg Monroe coming off the bench.

Only issue is shooting

couple of upsets tonite in the making...cavs are done tonite...hopefully BK can finish off the clips

Probaby gonna be the Bucks easiest game all year...
Greek Freak easily the best player on the court tonite. At times Dude looked like he was playing against children out there. That was one of the most dominant performances I've seen against the Cavs in a long time. Shit looked like a damn scrimmage....
