Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

I know you have but i just thought the defense would be fine; that's all about effort and positioning, that's it; people act like GS is small, but they really not; they are tall and long; they just need to be active; but i also knew because of last year, they will not give maximum effort until 2nd half of season; last year ruin them and also they believe they can outscore anyone;plus like you said when they run the offense no one can stop them and they know that as well; and just looking at matchups, man ain't no one matching up with them.....

Well right now the problem is garbage time.. when its not garbage time as of now they're a top 10 defense.. when it is garbage time they go to the lower 3rd
that's why you see them up huge then have to pull it out at the end.. they literally turn it off and on.
time to start mashing from start to finish. im encouraged by 43 points in the 4th quarter especially because curry didn't even play.
also encouraged curry getting assists up and once klay gets his assists up its going to be fun to watch.

He just got through shutting down draymond in the wcf which is hard to do because you don't have to stop him from scoring you have to stop him from facilitating which is harder imo.

The Cavs broke an NBA playoff record set by the Golden State Warriors by making 20 three-pointers in game during Game 2 of the first-round series against the Detroit Pistons, only to have the Warriors break that record by making 21 three-pointers four days later against Houston. In the Cavs’ next series, however, they made an NBA record-shattering 25 three-pointers. To top that off, they also set the record in a four-game series and nearly broke the record for most threes in a seven-game series…in just four games, per ESPN Stats & Info.


The Cavs’ blistering shooting from downtown has carried over into this regular season. Cleveland has made double-figure three-pointers in each of their first 13 games, totaling 165 triples, and continuing their record of consecutive games with double-figure three-pointers to start an NBA season. Last night’s performance against the Portland Trail Blazers, however, was special on it’s own.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, the Cavs 16-triple first half against Damian Lillard and the Blazers was not only a regular season franchise record, but an NBA regular season record previously held by (yeah, you guessed it) the Golden State Warriors.
