Bottom line, Durant will be playing the Love, Bosh, Barns roll, being stuffed in the corner waiting for the kick out and will usually be the forth man touching the ball after Curry, Thompson and Green...
The reason why these players numbers and % drop so low, is because its virtually impossible for rhythm shooters to stay on point with very few touches and shots.. Thats why they have specialist in the NBA who specialize in this type of shooting...
The problem is KD and Thompson will be playing redundant rolls in the pick and roll, both spotting up waiting for the dish... In my opinion both Thompson and Curry are much better outside shooters than Durant and for Durant to get those shots it will be a lot better than any of the splash brother taking it...
So if I was playing the Warriors I would try to bait the Warriors to forcing Durant to take the outside shots...
As far as having Durant come down with the ball and having Green set the pick and roll the way he does with Curry, again Curry is a better shooter, better ball handler and makes better decisions passing the ball, so that too will be a de-grade, also keep in mind the Warrior feast when the big man is force to rotate on Curry during these pick and roll switch off, go back the OKC series when Curry torched the Thunder when ever Durant or Adams was forced to guard him off the switch off... Do that with Green and the difference is not that pronounced, due to Green defender usually is the same type of guy who could defend against Durant so there would be very little mismatch in the switch off..
Lastly the problems the Warriors had with the Cavs is that their big men were able to match up vs Curry during these switch off, due to them being better perimeter defenders, so in that case switching the man guarding Durant with Love or Thompson will not be that big of a deal...
