Arrow on CW

the fact that the final scene had no emotional punch?

Is exactly why this show is about done...

that was the most FLASH ending in their entire run

and it didn't work.

pathetic

How the hell are you going to be talking to Oliver and then move your feet...stand up and then leave without saying a word....:smh::smh::smh:

Vixen was cool. Except for the pausing when she was bringing forth an animal. And the hair bothered me of course. Skin tone bothered me. Outfit bothered me. But ...eh.

at this point with arrow it could have been WORSE

the cleavage was good I really liked the effect of invoking the animal

she LOOKED like her enough and she was enthusiastic

the flatness I blame more on the show then to her particular performance.

unfortunately she ALWAYS talks like that I think that is why she does mostly sci fi work...

but I thought it was a decent intro...

because it was written badly

plain and simple

they actually thought there was so much emotion and tension and anticipation to see her walk the heartbreak the betrayal that the scene would resonate...

it didn't.

Now compare that to the simple line of Iris telling Barry...

'"Your Mom's on the phone."

How that single line resonated...

because after EVERYTHING why in the f*ck would Felicity choose NOW to leave Ollie?

He lost his son and gave up his mission.

Supported her the ENTIRE time.

But after all these YEARS she doesn't understand why he kept his son secret REALLY?

Now if is was written there was a situation that made him have to LITERALLY choose between the son and her?

I could have bought this...more.

But as written?

bullshit.

I don't understand why they had to put her in a 2 piece that was stupid. Mari Macabe is dark. I realize when white people cast black people they just say oh you're black you'll do fine. But i notice shit like that. Representation matters. Yeah it could've been worse. They did that thing they do in the comics when they don't show her animal change and just try to imply that something happens. The animal change took way to long for me. Way to damn long.

Why we gotta wait til March 23...

Felicity is an idiot....How the hell are you expecting him to talk to you, when it's not your decision to make :smh:
^^ Exactly. :yes::yes:

Guess none of the showrunners thought the audience would be smart enough to notice that Felicity's dizzy-ass mom pulled the very same STUNT on Capt. Lance, just one week ago. :hmm:

This broad Felicity had the AUDACITY to tell her mom last week: "Maybe he (Capt. Lance) lied to you in order to protect you... because he loves you... and YOU need to return that love with a little bit of TRUST" :hmm:

Shheeiiitttt.... Felicity even acknowledged to her mom that she also thinks Oliver would make a great dad.

Now fast forward just ONE week later... and Felicity cannot seem to LOVE or TRUST Oliver enough to make 'decisions' without her. :smh: [** insert facepalm**] (Decisions that actually PROTECT her & his son, at the same time.)

Not sure how tonight's situation was any different than last week's situation with her mom. :dunno:
They really made both these chics seem so flaky & completely unable to 'control their emotions' at all.

Cuz they just made this broad Felicity seem real hypocritical & way too 'self-absorbed' in tonight's episode. :smh:

Oliver stay holding her down, supporting her while she's crippled, plus running around multiple cities to protect every last citizen and member of his family & crew.... while fighting crime... and running for Mayor.

Meanwhile, the ONLY thing this chic Felicity is concerned about..... is how Oliver plans to let a kid (that ain't even hers ) enjoy his childhood... without HER permission / or opinion. :hmm:

I was half-expecting Felicity to just say: "Oliver, MY feelings are more important than everything else. Including your son.".... at some point, before the final credits rolled.

Hey Felicity, Parenthood called and left you a message: "You wanna play Mom? Have some kids of your OWN.... SO THAT YOU..... can get to make decisions about 'how & where' they get raised. That's HOW this shit works." :hmm:

But instead... they make her just WALK OUT on Oliver. :hmm:
After all that shit he done for her..... and the whole damn city.... Oliver needs to drop that broad. :hmm:

Just let her hack them computers.... and get back to the 'Playboy Billionaire' lifestyle.
That way, she don't got to concern herself with any.... 'decisions made without her input'. :smh:

You know what I find interesting is the conversation between Laurel and her father about Oliver. I think that deep down...there are still some feelings there for Oliver. It appears to be trending in that direction. Felicity is the annoying one on the show now. Why do these shows have to have ONE annoying character all the time? Does Oliver need her permission to go piss too?? GTFOH

who ever wrote THAT scene?

needs to be promoted to head writer...

that is a WOMAN who wrote that or a man who UNDERSTANDS women.

that was REAL right there. (and to be fair because I usually crush her, good acting by L.)

If Arrow wants to be some type of dark super hero opera?

then THERE it is real life reaction to a messed up situation.

the scene between Malcolm and Speedy should have been epic...it wasn't.

because the audience knew he was/is LYING so everything lost its punch.

He lied so damn much (and I get they are trying to draw a HEAVY handed parallel between Malcolm and Olivier as fathers and liars)

it didn't WORK...

a REAL scene Malcolm should have said...

"F*CK YES I lied and I would do it AGAIN!!!!

I wasn't going to let you die you ungrateful witch, how many DAMN times have I moved heaven and earth defied GOD to save you? to protect you?

I have fought the WORLD for you and even though you spit in face I keep coming back

your self righteous tortured emo brother cut off my HAND and I keep coming back...

(rips off the sling & cast - pointing his stump at her beating his chest with it)

and I WILL keep coming back AGAIN and AGAIN because you are my WORLD.

And I would BURN this entire globe into smoldering ash

if it meant you were safe.

But if you think you can live and survive without ME?

Fine...I will be waiting.

Because you will learn this world is dark and scabbed and full of pain and all I was doing was giving you the tools to HURT IT BACK.

I will be the demon's head again.

And you will learn once your friends betray you and hurt you and disappoint you

like all "friends" do

you will come to me your father of your own fee will

and sit beside me your rightful place.

And will rule together, Mia."

Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards on Felicity's surprising decision

AR415b_0205r.jpg

Olicity fans, take a deep breath.

After Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) kidnapped William during Wednesday’s episode of Arrow, Oliver (Stephen Amell) was finally forced to reveal to Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) that he had a son. Despite Samantha (Anna Hopkins) explaining that she was to blame for Oliver choosing a relationship with his son over Felicity, Team Arrow’s go-to IT gal decided it was high time to take a breather from Oliver, whom she says is incapable of fully letting her in.

Still, Rickards has hope this isn’t the end for Oliver and Felicity — and given that recent wedding photo, that seems rather obvious. “I think they are each other’s soulmates,” Rickards says. “I don’t think it’s that easy to let go of someone that you have shared such a deep connection with, even if they were hiding things from you. She might be able to take off the ring, but I don’t know if she can lose the intertwined connection of her heart, so we’ll see.”

Felicity removing her ring isn’t necessarily a huge surprise since a recent flash forward showed that particular piece of jewelry missing from her finger. The how of it all was the real question. “It really is the first step toward giving up that promise,” Rickards says of Oliver not telling Felicity the truth in the first place. “It hits her so hard, and she feels like she’s been blindsided. That only ignites the taking off of the ring. There have been so many big life changes for her recently, especially because she can’t use her legs. That on top of your partner keeping a big secret from you, there’s just so much going on for her that once she hears that, she just needs space and time, and discards of the promise that’s been wrapped around her finger.”

However, the close of the episode was bittersweet as Felicity discovered she could walk again. “We really did want her to be able to walk again and start a second new chapter, especially with her taking off her ring,” Rickards says. (More details on that chapter and what that means for her role on Team Arrow here.)

The new chapter, Rickards adds, isn’t necessarily born out of revenge for what Darhk did to her, but “out of respect for whoever is in the grave,” she says cryptically. “It’s not necessarily revenge as it is trying to prevent danger and death in the future.”

Arrow returns Wednesday, March 23 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

yeah she is ALWAYS flat and talks like that...since she did the animated series voice I thought it was a nice touch for them to give her the role.

Hell in a perfect world? CCH Pounder of the Shield would have gotten to play Waller since she did the voice on the cartoon.

So I really didn't sweat the complexion thing (although I completely agree with you)...its HER real complexion she had an existing relationship with the show, she is a Black female superhero so I take all the positives in first and don;t sweat that stuff ESPECIALLY if they put her on Legends of Tomorrow.

and I DO watch for these shows for cleavage.

but we USED to love her
Yeah, when she was handling business and getting all techy. Now all she does is whine and complain. Why do writers take things in that direction? Every man on the show is dealing with a relationship with a woman. Diggle is probably the only one not getting sappy with his girl.

it wasn't horrible but it so interesting that is happened to showcase EVERYTHING good AND bad about the series.

WHY bad guy just didnt murked them all. shit is dumb. playing around. felicity just suddenly walks and skips around. i was waiting for that back flip

I've notice that also.

Don't get me wrong Diggle loves his wife, but he's not all over her ass like the rest of men on the show...

Sick shit, probably brought forth to inject some color into cacomics & counter BlackPather b4 he makes his presence felt on the other side

like a mofucka!

Cute-ish little bodied chick but chill with the closeups where u see them cac features coming out & chill with her in general.

Damn near impossible to properly bring this character to any screen as well as properly capturing the action that was in the pilot toon above.

Again, just 'Detroit' - can't she live in & patrol certain sections if not,
its like the equivelent of Marvel's DD watching over the whole Manhattan or NYC, all boroughs, instead of just the Hell'sKitchen hood:hmm:

I'll watch more of the anime but can conviently skip the tv screen version whenever she comes on as that ep was a throwaway; maybe William will get a hold of the recording early & get into some shit way b4 18.

Felicity's gonna Felicity so who gives that much of a fuck.
Superheroes don't usually get the chick so who cares:dunno:
Am not that much emo invested in her lil ass nor charatcter development beyond the intellect & the fit of the skirts.

WHY bad guy just didnt murked them all. shit is dumb. playing around. felicity just suddenly walks and skips around. i was waiting for that back flip

and the SOURCE of Darhk's power...his EVERYTHING

that was ORIGINALLY LOCKED in a MYSTICAL CABINET

is out exposed on his coffee table next to the window...

yeah...

OK.

they just getting lazy with it...

they could EASILY be that dark super hero soap opera they were in the beginning...

just OWN that ...they were supposed to be the more gritty violent based in reality show...

but they gave ALL that to Flash which has now become not only a family show, but a sci fi show a comedy action/adventure and a soap opera...

hell the Zoom beatdowns are better choreographed lately then Arrow's???

legends_of_tomorrow_121027.jpg

Tonight’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow was a particularly fun one for fans of The CW’s sector of the DC Universe, as the titular squad spent the hour within the in-ruins city limits of Star City in the year 2046. There, we got a peek at one old face (complete with a beard) and two new faces, including that of Green Arrow 2.0Connor Hawke. But in a twist that was totally unexpected (despite everything being expected in this anything-goes universe), we learn that Connor Hawke wasn’t this vigilante’s given name at all. He was actually born John Diggle, Jr.

What the what? It looks like at some point in the years after Rip Hunter swooped everyone into his ship and took off on this time-skipping adventure, John and Lyla Diggle felt it was appropriate to start conceiving again to give Sara Diggle a younger sibling. And the product of said conception, an act which hopefully did not involve Diggle’s helmet, was apparently destined to carry on his father’s name and part of his father’s legacy. Only this guy doesn’t feel like he’s worthy of using Diggle as his surname, and he thus takes on the alter ego Connor Hawke, which sounds like a devastatingly under-thought pseudonym by a dim reincarnation of Hawkman.

Admittedly, this wasn’t the most jaw-flooring surprise, even when compared to otherLegends of Tomorrow shocks. But there’s still a strange mental exercise that happens when one processes how things have changed in a fictional world they’re invested in, and there’s something downright sad in comprehending Diggle dying at some point in the 30 years between our present day and Star City 2046. Now, this future likely won’t even come to being if the super crew does what they intend to do in taking down Vandal Savage, so it’s definitely not set in stone that Diggle and Lyla will still bring the second-generation Green Arrow into the world. Or that Oliver will end up needing his robotic arm.

_1456456728.jpg

All in all, it’s a pretty perfect way to spin this temporary storyline. While Connor Hawke is both Oliver’s Green Arrow successor and his son in the comics, we knew that couldn’t happen on the show thanks to all that secret son business happening on Arrow this season. So what better way to introduce this new hero than by tying him to one of Oliver’s closest compadres. It not only shows us that Team Arrow can prevail through anything, but also that all Oliver needed was to be told “You can do it,” in order to save the day.

And do it they did, as both Green Arrows took out nuevo Deathstroke and spoke of their intentions to continue building Star City back up to what it once was. Again, these guys probably won’t exist in the normal timeline, but at least we know they’re out there at some point in time, honoring the Diggle name by way of delivering justice. Now if Connor could just lend Oliver the Green Clippers.

Fuck....:itsawrap:

BTW, If you didn't catch the subtile this was an opening for Oliver and Laurel destiny! Green Arrow an the Black Canary!

Man, you see this after what recently happened and it changes your perception. I'm not going to go as far as say Felcity is self-absorbed and cold. But I'm starting to feel she's not the right one for him and obviously marrying her might not be for the best.

Arrow is too sappy. Oliver fucks nearly every female cast member that he's not related to. With Flash his one true love is Iris. They do a good job of having him being his main infatuation while getting his dick wet from time to time.

And what's wrong with that? The point being variety is good! Oliver grew up differently than The Flash. One grew up a playboy likely not having any problems smashing whatever chick he wanted and the other grew up a nerd!

We don't need the same show with both leads more or less having the same kinds of moral codes in every facet of their lives. If so, then whats the point of having two shows? That's just a continuation of one long show
