Loop 610 which surrounds the inner city. real estate is sky high for anything decent. I would say Pearland, Missouri City, Fresno, maybe Sugar Land and maybe Katy. Maybe Spring. but I can tell you don't get what you used to for 180 to 220k and good luck even finding anything in some areas. inventory is low in some areas.

I recond south of I-10 because the three main business centers are there (downtown, uptown(galleria area) and the medical center) but all of the major sports stadiums and events are held south of I-10, 610 basically makes a circle of the inner city, the beltway makes a circle of the outter limits, sugarland, mo city, pearland and katy like the other dude said, you can catch some good housing prices in the fresno and mo city area, ft nend school districts have good schools
