bro, they've got loads of books and videos for that.
what did you end up with ansa?
I read this thread again and all I thought was: damn, more than half a dozen new bodies out and glass is still the best investment.
here's a link where you can compare any camera to another.
As a pro shooter (full time) with over 30 yrs of experience, I'd say unless you just have money to burn going full frame "just because" isn't a good reason in my opinion. You can get the same desired results & probably better results starting with something lower like say a D7100. Also as folks have stated your glass is going to make a big difference in what you're able to accomplish.
I'm a Nikon shooter, myself but have nothing against Canon & tell folks to get what feels best in their hands.
Had the 5d MarkII but went with a lighter body and a mft system in a panasonic body. I have a gh3 now and a t4i but I'm selling the t4i and getting the gh4 next month.
I fell in love with the size and performance of the Sony a55 DSLR. I was considering purchasing one of those as a starter / bang for the buck camera and it's compact size. Give me some info. on this one if you have it.

how are you liking the gh3 coming from a 5D and cannon glass IQ wise? I would take a hacked gh2 and the 4 looks really nice. my co-worker has a 3, but I have not seen anything that he shot with it yet.
