And, that's why you never heard of "Frank" Capone

Wiki:
Although Al was prone to violence, Frank was reportedly considered much worse. Whereas Al usually wanted to negotiate, Frank opted to use violence immediately, explaining that, "You never get no back talk from a corpse

i gotta watch this ep again.
soo... did nucky set eddie up to show him that he's not about that thug life?
that's odd because in BWE, Frank was the one who kept the cool head while Al always wanted to use violence to settle things.![]()
what makes you think that?
Eddie took pride in working for Nucky; he wasn't going back to Europe with all that shame.
I don't think they were really going to send him back. They wanted to scare him and they did. But I said to myself after he was let go, I wouldn't be surprised if he sacrifice himself for Nuck, lo and behold. That's loyalty.

Why did Nucky show Eddie his socks? What was the significance of that particular scene???
showing him that he cant even choose matching socks without him. he's needed.

Not so sure Agent Knox was doing his job, weren't people entitled to one phone call even back then?
Still can't stand Gillian and don't feel sorry for her. Many people have had terrible childhoods and don't grow up to be incestuious murderers. I wish she had OD'ed and I hate that she gets a nice man, or so we think he's nice. I hate men who are "Captain Save a Ho."
Real-life Capone was much like Tony Soprano -- hulking, genial, a good manager (scenery-chewing, height-challenged Stephen Graham is such an odd casting choice).

I wonder how the Van Alden thing will work out.

Question. How big is obanion in this
I know eventually Capone will win
But can't capone just kill him and all his soldiers
Capone was able to go to nucky with an army
This obanion guy doesn't seem that powerful

After watching the Wire and Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire has to step up it's game.
Eddie's death should have been a jarring sense of loss, and it wasn't.

naw son.
that was a good episode.
it may not be on the Wire level, but BWE is doing just fine imo.![]()
I don't think that was it....I think he was showing Eddie that he was still off of his game. Eddie sets all Nucky's shit out in advance. And he set out two mismatched socks. You noticed he set all of Nucky's socks before he stepped out the window. But Eddie's been off since his shooting. But he constantly keeps telling Nucky that he's fine even though he can barely even pour a cup of coffee and needs the cane to get around. Pride is why Eddie insisted on continuing with his duties even though Nucky wanted him to take a rest. Pride is why he walked out that window
