Sooo.....I made the switch to the S3...

I decided to upgrade to a Galaxy IV last week and it is worth the upgrade. I am truly convinced that apple will die a slow painful death. I am now shopping for the best samsung tablet as I type. I will be selling the Ipad3.

The SG IV is obviously faster, the screen put out the most beautiful pictures and the battery life is excellent. If anyone is thinking about upgrading, do it!

The S3 is an amazing phone, i haven't seen anything that the S4 does that has even made me think about upgrading to it

So disappointed that I can't go to sites like firstrowsports and supervoxtv and watch my games and live shows when im not home..phone is pretty dope though..

I'm not upgrading from the S3 to the S4. Matter fact I just ordered a Nexus 4 that i'm going to put on T-Mobile prepaid as a 2nd phone. Started a new job and Sprint is so shaky in my new location, I had to do something. T-Mobile gets great coverage via HSPA+ in Dallas.

This is not a S3 exclusive feature but anyone ever played with the app called "local"? I was just messing around with it and clicked on location history and it listed everywhere I had been all the way back to Apr 2012. You can choose a date and it told what time I left home, where I went and how long it took me to get there, showed how many miles I drove on a particular day, and what time I got back home and how long I was there before I left out again.

I'll have to try this app.

Besides Hide it Pro what's another app like it?

And why is that you see some people can post/share long ass videos from their phone and some can't.

I have a confession someone made that can be used in court (per the attorney) for a person I used to work for as a consultant and I'm trying to email it, text, etc...to big, so for now I just need to hide it in my phone because I put my phone down too much and now one person that's key to this has knowledge that I have it, but when I go to find it with Hide It Pro, it's not showing the video as one that can be hidden/selected.

Help

Something strange happen to my phone yesterday and I'll try to explain it to see if you guys can help me get it back.

In the settings there a home screen mode and you can set it for easy or basic, well since the upgrade, I had it set for easy and there were three pages, one was my time and three favorite contacts, the 2nd was my favorite apps, and the third was pretty much my settings.

I was talking after leaving the gym and got in the car to go to my favorites screen and it was gone, now all three are gone. I've trying going back to basic mode and returning back to easy and nothing.

Any idea how to set it back up or what happened? It's not worth resetting but right now I want to throw this shit out the Window.

Samsung tablets have been a huge disappointment.

I have a Microsoft surface. The surface is the best tablet because it functions like a laptop. Everyone would love the speed and features. The tablet would not be for everyone.

Depends on the user. Some android and Apple users may find it to limited by not having their familiar apps. Apps are what make the user experience special and this could be a issue with some.

Android tablets are decent but they are not that great out of box. My top choice is the IPad.

Jagu do you know how to put the windows side by side? Still haven't figured it out yet

Hold the back button...you will see a blue tab on the left side of your screen. Pull it out to see a list of apps that allow dual screen. Then pull the icon you want to share the screen with.

Gorilla glass not so tough on the s4. I got a small 1.5 inch crack in the corner already from a short fall in the case... not worth 150 deductible for a new one imo. However, it's bothering me like hell because I know it's there. :(

Did you buy it with a good credit card? If so, file a claim for accidental damage and the credit card will pay the deductible. I couldn't live with a crack on the stunning screen.
