Sooo.....I made the switch to the S3...

There are two that are in English, did you upload them from the same place as the others?
all the songs were uploaded from Windows media player and on my 2nd try, from winamp

unless your settings are to a different language on the phone, then either that music is not english or the ID TAGS of the music are all messed up and you need to fix that. you can download MP3 Tag to do that... google it..

TAGS? nah, don't think so because it was all good when i had my iphone but i'll check it out thx.

I get one of these if the next nexus does not blow me away. Also fuck samsungs jelly bean update. I'm going to install a pure jelly bean ROM on my shit. Fuck touch wiz.

Have you messed around with a touchwiz jelly bean rom?

Gs3

Yo I copped the GS3 off flossh review alone. I was in the market for a phone but his review so was dope that I decided to cop it. So far it's been all that and a beast. I also got my gurl the iphone 5 and she's like :smh: when she sees the shit I can do with my GS3 versus hers.. Yep i'm loving it!

i think i'm about to reset my phone then.:hmm:

Reset the phone? what other problems are you having? Why don't you try just dragging and dropping the music from the music folder on your computer to the music folder on your phone

Why are you using software to copy your music. Just go to the sdcard folder in windows on your phone. Use the external sdcard. You can make a media or music folder and copy your music there.

The phone will find the music and everything.

You doing too much. That's why you having errors. Plus it must take forever to copy gigs of music that way.

If the update I got the other day was for 4.0.4 should I ask Att why and how soon before my 4.1 jellybean or leave well enough alone and wait?

dont ask them anything. they wont give you any information that isnt already on the net. You should have it soon though. Im guessing sometime this month.

Even if I received one update already?

that was probably a device update. Possibly a prep for JB.

The same thing just happened with my Tablet. Asus issued an update, then about a week later, we got the JB update.

Update****

Unfortunately, I just dropped my SG3 phone this afternoon and the whole front glass shattered even though I broke the fall with my foot. My Iphone has been dropped under worse conditions and it never shattered.

Anyway, I paid with my business platinum amex, so Amex will reimburse me for the $550 that I paid for the phone. I am on the fence about buying another Samsung for now. It is a very powerful and loaded phone but it patently cheaply built. I will be looking to get the Nokia 920 or Iphone 5 to replace it.

I will keep reading this thread just in case I stay with the Samsung

And DevilStrider was arguing the other day about how sturdy the SG3 was.

Good move on using the Amex. I did the same when my first iPhone4 screen broke.

Remember the Nokia is on Windows Phone 8.

What kind of case were you using?

A thin case, just like the one that I used with the Iphone. The phone is good but not solid. Honestly, the fall was so weak that it should not have broken.

The upcoming Nokia 920 Lumia seems to be solidly built phone and I might try that one.

 you might as well go back to the Iphone... WP is dead... Any phone that has glass, if dropped where the glass hits, will break, iphone, nokia, samsung, etc... just get a better case if you have slippery fingers... ;-)

Yeah, I know. I just don't like a bulky phone, so I might just get the apple protection plan this time.

But as much junk as people talk about the Iphone, it has a super resale value. I just sold my iphone 4S, which I bought at Best buy for $121 under contract, for $345 with a cracked glass.

You should probably get a better case just in case you drop your phone regardless. What happens if you drop the Iphone and it breaks?

You gotta get a real case man. Absorbing impact isn't for those cheap lil tpu cases.
If you do get another sf
Gs3 get an incipio case or otterbox commute. Shit you should be protecting your iphone or sgs3 like that!

I've dropped mine 3 Times, twice getting out the car and nothing. Doesn't mean samsung is cheap. Means phones are fragile.

That was a maintenance update that snatches your universal search and fixes some other errors. Preparation updates usually come RIGHT before the real update but jb will probably be hitting next month.
And don't waste your time with customer service. They told me that by factory resetting my phone id lose ice cream sandwich.

Just got a incipio case for my iphone4 as i am tired of the bulkiness of the OtterBox :smh:

No point of having a sleek slim phone if your gonna put a bulky ass case on it...thats why i never used otterboxes on my iphones i just use Incipio feather cases literally adds no bulk and i dropped my iphone plenty of times and the phone never broke.. i got the same case on my S3 hopefully it will hold up if i drop it like the iphone did

yeah, i dont like those cases either. i had one, but the shit broke. The case makes it to heavy to clip on. I prefer a gel case.

Those bulky cases just look and feel horrible and limiting. If I get another Iphone, I'll just buy the protection plan.

Here is the back cover that I got for the samsung SG3.
