I personally like Opera Mobile (not Opera Mini).
Sometimes I just use the stock browser.
I tried all of the other browsers on my tablet. After trying them all i settled on Opera. I keep hearing Dolphin is the best but i just didn't get into it.

I was all excited.My biggest gripe about this phone right now is texting... If you recieve an mms text with a picture it will sometimes appear is a slideshow video. Mostly when someone sends you a text and types before they attach the picture. Anyone know how to fix this? And no chompsms or those other apps don't work
Yeah I get a lil pissed about the texts too sometimes especially the pictures, or it will say from anonymous sender and I have to go to another app (att messages) to open them..., but still not going back.
Only thing that bothers me are some of the apps with adds. I had to delete a few of them (Words with Friends etc) that got on my damn nerves.
I guess you have to root it also to get rid of the stock text message app. I use Handcent but incoming always show up on stock.

You don't need to root to use Handcent or GoSMS. Disable notifications on the stock SMS app & you should be good to go.

Check out GoSMS for texting. There should be a setting in stock SMS app to turn off notification popups. I have it on mine, but I am on jellybean or 4.1.1 and am rooted.
As for ads, yea if you were rooted you can stop most ads with the app AdFree in the playstore.

I have to laugh at myself so I switched to GoSMS and saw the other GO apps and installed those and most were cool but that GoLauncher has me all messed up, I started panicking couldn't find my apps, turned the phone off and back on and still nothing finally got to play store and deleted most of it. Nerves got bad really fast. Lol!

GoLauncher is a launcher like a desktop on a PC. It will show shortcuts to the actual apps. So when you install a fresh one, will have no apps on your android desktop till you drag them from the app drawer. Apps are still there just not on the android 'desktop'.
If you want a really good launcher try Nova Launcher. Has the ability to create backups of your desktop environment and create folders along with a ton of features like themes as well.

Aiight, so here is my only beef (so far) with the GSIII...The speaker placement, 9 times out of 10, my phone is either laying on my desk, or in a leather case on my hip, in both instances, the speaker is blocked, and even at full volume, i often miss calls cause i ant hear em...

Maybe just you, because I was hearing all kinds of bells and whistles. I keep my volume off anyway but this thing had me running to the dang door, and that's when it was in my purse lol

Same here if i got it laying screen up i sometimes cant here when it rings
Can you go into the settings>apps and find the app.
Do a force stop, clear the cache, then clear the data.
Reboot the phone and try the app again.
Another thing to double check is if your phone's language settings are to default or are they set to English (US)

What ringtone do you have because even with mine set on the "whistle" tone i can hear it loud and clear when it's set down. I have ringtones set to say my name and i can hear the names loud and clear
Just delete the music and try again.

I meant say the callers name. It's in the playstore used to be called "saymyname" but is now called "ANNOUNCIFY"
There are two that are in English, did you upload them from the same place as the others?
