Game Of Thrones season 2: The night is dark and full of terror................

That was the man Joffery told to represent the King on the battlefield.

He saw how Half Man treated the king and saw an opportunity to pluck a thorn...i think

Hmmm... Ok, I don't think he acted on his own though... Wow...

While,I dont disagree what your saying in the book Tyrion has another theory and Im surprised the non-readers hasnt picked it up yet...

Especially, what happened last week with him..

Sansa... had her out. she rose when the time came though and showed more courage than cersi did. she is built to be queen.

Cersi...got drunk started reflecting on life and when it seemed like hope was lost just was gonna say fuck it. The stuff she told Cersi about women's weapons and everything else was just her passing down wisdom as she saw it to sansa. their interaction was great.

Joffrey, a little scared chump who talks major shit but when the heat is on does nothing but run and hide. His momma sent for him and he left... he's the king... he even tried to get the dude to make it seem better by asking if there was some pressing business... yes pressing business she needs you to attend to while a battle is going on :smh:...

Hound honorable and fighter and just said fuck it. He was out there chopping dudes in half 3 different ways and shit but that fire....fear is fear. I'm glad he didn't just sneak out and go on about his business, he did address the king and acting hand and renounced to their face so he has that at least.

I had no real opinion of Stannis before tonight but as of now I have immense respect for him. He believes he is the rightful king and wanted to take his throne. He had been talking shit all season and saying he wanted it. This episode he showed he was real. He was on the 1st boat to hit shore. He made it to the wall, he yelled out his orders. He was the first up the ladder, he fought once inside by himself, no protection just man to man and was winning. Stannis is about everything he said he was.

Tyrion found that he had more courage than even he thought. When push came to shove he didn't fold, he stood tall :D. His plan his map his everything got them to the point of at least putting up a resistance. His speech was great, deflecting the lead and glory position and making it personal basically saying fight for your lives.. it was a great save considering everyone just saw the king exit stage left and leave them in the middle of the battle. Tyrion fought about as well as he could have but it was him actually being there that just adds to his legend imo.
I don't think he's dead and the battle is over so they should be able to get him to a medic in time.

Tywin
Me and a dear friend have discussed him and what he stands for and all of his qualities... He's as likeable and honorable as Ned was in my opinion he's just on the "wrong" side. he's never outwardly nervous he's always there to protect and save his family he's just real... when they came, i thought i saw his banners but it didn't compute because i thought they were supposed to march on rob...
but when they opened the door to the throne room and ole boy walked in first, i knew who would be walking in after
Tywin is the saving grace
the look in Cersi's eyes said it all... he's always there and always has been, he isn't all outwardly i love you give me a hug and all that shit and he doesn't need to be.
He shows his love by giving his kids confidence (making Tyrion the acting hand) and showing up and handling the business when needed like tonight. That was just very well done very very well done.

I believe Cercei set that up because she believes Tyrion was out to kill her son or have him killed so she wanted to get to him first. She probably told Jeoffrey's guards to get him if/when they saw an opportunity.

The battle field is the perfect place because everyone is in the heat of battle and his death couldn't be questioned and wouldn't look suspicious.

Robb better get his shit in order because with Stannis and his forces down for the moment the Lannisters can solely focus on him and the North now.

Season 3 is going to be crazy

If I was a solider and saw my king running away like a bitch,Ill be like why am I fighting for him....Everyone,including Tyrion was like wtf....It took Tyrion,to motivate them...

I think Tyrion sister told the guy to kill him during the battle when he gets the chance. Wasn't the guy the same one that slapped Sansa when Joffery said his mother told him a king should never hit his lady and then ordered the guy to do it. That guy just seems evil and will do whatever the Lannisters tell him to do.

First scene next week is going to be Stannis' head on a spike

Can someone explain something... What happened when he got cut? It seemed like his soldier turned on him? Or was that an order to assassinate him? Can someone explain  And I'm pretty sure he's alive--he's too well liked as a character...

I remember thinking that last year. Surely there's no way they would kill the guy on the poster.

I really hope I'm wrong. Sean Bean is a great actor, but Eddark really wasn't built for this. Peter Dinkage on the other hand, makes this show. They better not kill him off.

Fuck the Kings Guard, fuck the city, fuck the king. The Hound was slicing and dicing like a whopper chopper until that nightmare flashback about fire bitched him up.

No doubt but I don't see Dinklage going anywhere.

They got away with it once with Sean Bean but if they were to kill off Tyrion, especially after featuring him so prominently this season, the uproar would be waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy worse.

I think, as has already been suggested in this thread, he just simply got sliced in the face.

I think he's going to get shafted out of any glory for this though. He'll be shunned by his nephew and sister, no way she will let him get his just due. And I have a feeling his father will not be as grateful or willing to show praise or appreciation to his son for his work holding things together and standing in for him as hand of the king.

You are on the right path my friend. Tyrion will be fucked and his relationship with Tywin will be special.

N

i doubt they take any glory away from him for this it was people he led that night he was right in front striking first that will not be forgotten so easily.

I pretty much agree with what Bills was saying. Stannis really showed up and i was glad he did. He's a warrior king. Cersi was fucking hilarious.

the ships had just been blown up his lead ships and his hand lost at sea, his troops looking shaken as they hear the screams of their brothers in the ocean powerless to help them.

that did not phase stannis
that did not make him second guess anything.
no matter what happens to him from here on out... i don't think anyone can call him scared and will have to respect him. that was ultimate to me.

edit: they had to drag him out of there screaming stand and fight!

Nope! Stannis has that witch to be worried about. You think she's not pissed he failed to take King's Landing after he left her behind? Just saying...because I know. :D

Damn nigga let people enjoy the show stop spoiling shit, there is a whole thread for that.

Whats right and whats real are two different things.

They won't let Tyrion get credit like that, which could equal power.

Jeoffrey will be the conquering king, Tywin will be the noble savior which is fitting since he's the hand of the king.

Tyrion's efforts while noble won't get him any recognition.

Its like Cersei was explaining to Sansa, when/if they won she would be portrayed as some heroic, calming, and stoic figure amongst the women when the war was over even though she was a drunk, cruel mess in there:lol:

Stannis was already feared and respected I don't think he was in any danger of losing his rep.

This just enhanced it.

However a loss is a loss and he failed at taking the thrown so I assume he will be obviously much less powerful and respected, particularly after losing his ships and the majority of his army.

in their world yes that's true. fact is he lost
whoever is alive will remain loyal to him though on the strength of what they saw with their own eyes

I don't think the issue is their loyalty, I think its how he will feel about and react to them after they abandoned him and ran when Tywin moved in with his troops of reinforcements.

tyrions squire pushed his shit back!:bravo:

he may prove to be stubborn and you're right because you saw he wanted to fight however i think once he calms down he'll try and regroup and then attack again.

How can anyone respect a King, that ran like a bitch....Tyrion had more heart than Joffrey ass....:hmm::hmm:

I don't think he's ever had any respect, but what very little he had is completely gone.

I don't think he needs respect though. He has fear. They fear him because he is cruel and ruthless, and more important they fear his mother and the rest of the Lannisters.
