I don't think he said the "old man saved the city". He may be crazy but he has not completely lost his mind. He said something like Tywin Lannister is the savior of the city (and yes that is his grandfather).

is varis homo?

he doesnt have a johnson!

but the scene with him & tyrion

seemed to suggest he is(didnt quite understand scene). why else

Fantastic episode. I loved it. Where was this kind of action earlier in the season? Tyrion is a fucking Boss. That's my dude.

Question....did the Hound turn coward? Personally, I think he finally realized Joffery, The Kings guard, The Kingdom, and the city wasn't worth a shit....let alone worth dying for.

Anyway, the Hound will be hunted down because he disrespected that coward Joffery. Being that big and that scared up, the Hound cant hide, even if he does travel north.

He fears fire.....

Damn! Thanks. I saw the connection when he saw the fire. I was like...damn, damn I know it. He is scared. Not scared of dying but...damn. They showed it but my ass just couldn't pick up on it exactly. I feel like an ass.

I love Dinklage.

Tyrion is a boss.

I was curious about how they would handle the magic this season. The wildfire scene was on point!

I hope he didn't die. Hopefully just passed out. But DAMN. He may as well be king because Joffrey is shit in the eyes of the people. When Joff left everybody was like, "Fuck you, Imp". But he rallied the people basically saying, "Fuck the king, the city, the gold, the throne, shit fuck me. If you don't fight to spite his sorry little ass then your homes will burn and your wives and daughters will be raped. Fight for yourselves!"

I feel like Kup in the ORIGINAL Transformers The Movie, "That's it! He turned the tide." because that is exactly what Tyrion did.

He'd better not die, but if he does he went out like a G. I coulnd't tell if it was a slice on the cheek across the face or a Face-Off situation. I didn't watch the "Next On..." shit because I don't like next week hints, even on network TV shows. But I know where I will be next week at 10:35PM EST, looking for Man_of_Steel's upload of the season finale.

Naw, you may be partly right but Varys spies are children and they are the "little birds" he references when discussing intel he has come across.

I do not remember it blatantly being mentioned that he was a Pedo in the books but I could be wrong.

I dont remember it either,I know they did talked about his gash last season.....

Wait, was that one of Tyrion's own men who tried to kill him?

This is what gets me about war. Always has. How do you keep from killing your own men. I was in the Navy, and I can't and never learned how to shoot for shit. Army folks may clown, but all of you are thankful I didn't join the Army because a bunch of people look like a bunch of people to me. It is difficult to impossible for me to discern who is who in a short period of time. In war movies I just wait until it is done because I cannot tell who is who; I just wait til later to find out who is missing.

I am a stare-seer, which means I have to stare at something, let it focus before I can tell whether it is friendly, bogey or bystander, and even then it doesn't stick completely. I struggle to play games like Scramble with Friends due to this issue. But, with wartime situations that are constantly changing I would either be dead in seconds in war or shooting at anything, hoping that I didn't hit my own men. Eerily reminiscent of Jack Spade from 'I'm Gonna Git U Sucka' "They shootin'! They shootin'!" scene, or Vern from Stand By Me when they gave him the gun to guard the camp while the other boys slept.

I know dude aimed for Tyrion on purpose, but how do you keep from shooting your own in war?

Just started watching this show. Love it. Can't wait for tonight's episode to hit the torrents

Hey, are you going to be able to upload the audiobook for A clash of kings? I still need that book for the audiobook thread and I still can't find it anywhere else.

if you need me to.

i just used torrents.

havent even tried to listen to it yet.

ill check it. whats a good host site?

Here is Book 2 - Clash of Kings Audiobook. This one is likely to outlive other links due to my titling it in synonyms rather than Game of Thrones - Book 2 - Clash of kings. I haven't listened to it yet due to me still listening to book 1, but here ya go.

yeah..that was fucked up. I think dude was just trying to protect the king's honor. Like, ok...we in the heat of battle...I heard that slick shit you said to the king earlier...I might as well take you out now.

But Tyrion handled this episode like a boss. If he lives, he just gained a LOT of props from his pops.

I thought the fear of fire thing with the hound played out very well. I remember the story that Little Finger told last season and I was wondering when that was gonna come into play.

My only real question is what happened/happens to Stanis now?

Without saying too much Stannis will regroup somewhere else.

As far as Tyrion gaining props from his dad and everyone else you will see.

I know. He handled himself wonderfully in both the eyes of his father and the people. Joffrey may as well kill himself now. Sansa said it best, "The worst ones always survive."

But Stannis, though he fought bravely, is up shits creek.

I thought I heard he had his shit cut off...

Though nothing that Varys says can be completely trusted, he claims to have been born a slave in Lys that was sold and apprenticed to a traveling folly, a troupe of mummers who worked the Free Cities, Oldtown, and occasionally King's Landing, by means of a fat little cog owned by the troupe's master. During their stay in Myr, a man offered a large sum of money for Varys, an offer his master found too tempting to refuse. The man gave Varys a potion that made him powerless to move or speak, but did nothing to dull his senses as his manhood was cut off at the stem, then burnt in a brazier in a Blood Magic ritual. Varys claims to have held a hatred for all things magical ever since

That would explain why he doesn't want to see Stanis on the throne and why he lobbied to have Targaryan girl killed.
