Game Of Thrones season 2: The night is dark and full of terror................

can someone make an mp3 to "The Rains of Castamere"(the song at the end of the episode for anyone who wants to know)

Nevermind

And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

Just watched the episode again and with all the big battle shit happening, I overlooked an important aspect.

The queen was drunk as fuck, but she isn't stupid. I really hope Shane leaves the city immediately because I doubt it will take the queen long to put two and two together.

Though nothing that Varys says can be completely trusted, he claims to have been born a slave in Lys that was sold and apprenticed to a traveling folly, a troupe of mummers who worked the Free Cities, Oldtown, and occasionally King's Landing, by means of a fat little cog owned by the troupe's master. During their stay in Myr, a man offered a large sum of money for Varys, an offer his master found too tempting to refuse. The man gave Varys a potion that made him powerless to move or speak, but did nothing to dull his senses as his manhood was cut off at the stem, then burnt in a brazier in a Blood Magic ritual. Varys claims to have held a hatred for all things magical ever since

That would explain why he doesn't want to see Stanis on the throne and why he lobbied to have Targaryan girl killed.

yeah he looked like he was about to cry when talking to tyrion!

-another thing, you rivers with all these spoilers!

stop the bullshit man!!! stay in that other got thread with that shit!

How is it spoiler when I posted a video from last season what I just wrote....

Talking about tonight's episode with the wife. How is Joffery going to continue to rule? Everyone saw him leave and hide right when it was time to defend the city. The people had no respect for him to begin with. Now his respect with them will be even less. The kings guard rolled on Joffery too. Joffery's enforcer Hound is gone.....who the hell is going to follow this nut case now?

Lord Tywin's on the scene now, and he's the official hand. Best believe people are gonna fall in line.

not you per say. i quoted you for your statement bout varis.

-but since you felt the need to speak, why even post the white

lettering shit, this is a NON-SPOILER thread!

The white out part is basically Varys beginnings, unless they talk about it in the last 2 books...If they do my bad....

That is right. Tyrion was to be the Hand until Lord Tywin was ready to take the position back. So I guess Joffery's power as King is over. Joffery will still be the figure head King...but Tywin will be calling all the shots. At least until Rob Stark comes to Kings Landing.

honestly i doubt vary's will talk about his balls gettin cut off in the show at this point. in the books he told tyrion the story as they were talking about magic, and in this ep, they seemed like they were gonna go that same route (in the scene when tyrion was getting prepared) but didn't at the last second.

Where were the witch and the spirit she gave birth to (that killed Renly)?

I assumed they would play some part in the war when Stannis landed.

It seems like the majority of fans like this episode....

Anybody who didn't like this episode doesn't know shit when it comes to good television. I couldn't see someone having a legitimate complaint.

I was wondering how the would cover the war effectively with only 2 episodes left and they masterfully did the shit in one episode

Got to say Stannis is a true soldier. Homie was first off that ship and first to get up that wall. If I was him I would have been in the very back yelling "CHARGE!!!!"

I noticed that too. I think they wrote it that way purposely, in order to show us the parallels between a true warrior king like Stannis and the boy king.

Stannis was the first of his army to land, climb the ladder and draw blood. Joefry ran like a bitch at the first opportunity. Even in the end, Stannis was still swinging while his banner men were retreating.

I think he might have actually made a good king. Guess were stuck with the boy king for a little while longer.

few things,

1. stannis is a G!

2. i was wondering why loras's helmet had stag horns(wearing renlys shit, :smh:)

3. it looked like sansa was going to go with the hound.

in next weeks episode shes still in kinngs landing

his hand(onion homie) told him to leave her back,

so the victory would be seen as all his.

Fuck it, I'm gonna say it...

Blackwater was the best episode I have ever seen; out of any show on TV.

I thought I was watching a movie.

I watched it twice. I'm gonna watch it again today; maybe twice as well.

GRRM is a legend.

Man you sure this is the audiobook for book 2

I know you said you changed the title

Yes it is the audiobook to book 2. I used synonyms instead of the true name to ensure its survival. Companies hire people to delete files with the title of whatever in their name. So, if you don't use the name then it survives longer because it passes the Google test.

:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

I just hate how people nitpick every thing, just because a few things were left out from the books....:smh:

I wish they made every season finale 2 hours.....:lol:

I think Littlefinger is just fishing here. Trying to get a "rise" out of Varys. Nothing in the books to suggest that Varys is motivated by sexual desires at all.

You sir are correct. Varys appears to have an unnatural affection for young boys, and he allows people to make of it what they will. In truth, he feeds, houses, and trains the young boys as spies so that he can send them out; and know what's going on everywhere.

Sunday, June 3 – Game of Thrones

In the special 70-minute second season finale, Theon plans to call his men to action, but Luwin has some important advice for him first. Arya receives a gift from Jaquen. Daenery enters unfamiliar territory, and Brienne silences Jaime. 9 p.m. on HBO®.

That’s all for this week. Tune in next week for your next watch list.

When Mother was prepping the youngest Baretheon to drink the potion, she was telling him the story about how he would be king....wonder if that was foreshadowing....cause with Jeoffrey out of there, his brother would be king

In the next preview they show Jeffery saying the old man saved the city

Isnt that his grandfather ? And the one in charge

I don't think he said the "old man saved the city". He may be crazy but he has not completely lost his mind. He said something like Tywin Lannister is the savior of the city (and yes that is his grandfather).

I understand what Ben is saying...if Half Man hadn't done what he did, then the Old Man would have been too late to save the City..and the people know that

Halfman Halfman Halfman

Can someone explain something... What happened when he got cut? It seemed like his soldier turned on him? Or was that an order to assassinate him? Can someone explain  And I'm pretty sure he's alive--he's too well liked as a character...

Yeah that was his own man that tried to kill him...

That was the man Joffery told to represent the King on the battlefield.

He saw how Half Man treated the king and saw an opportunity to pluck a thorn...i think
