That's what happens when you are facing a top contender every fight...as long as he doesn't look like shit against the Forrest Griffens of the world he can fight on...but after this beatdown and the one he took from Jones..he is already headed towards wearing a diaper at age 50...he keeps this up and he will be walking with a cane at 45.
Shogun is too up and down now...he looks amazing one fight...terrible the next...

agreed....I think Hendo Vs Anderson at MW would be better match up...other than Sonnen he really pushed Silva that fight in the 1st rd.....

It's possible, but Fedor might win. Monson ain't won against alot of the better fighters but he's good. Fedor is a legend, just nothing close to the best P4P GOAT people try to hype him to be though.

That's the thing about the UFC...there are very few belt contenders..I don't think most HW can do anything with JDS or Cain..GSP only has 1 or 2 real contenders and the same can be said for every belt. There is no Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Duran situation in any division.

A. Silva is a great fighter but why do so many people act like he cannot be beaten? He is a world class striker and all but I see a few who can take him.
I see cats like GSP, Jon Jones, Rashad Evans, maybe Machida MIGHT even give him some problems. They are the only ones who I think can pull it off. They are the only ones I can think of for now.

None of those fighters can touch Silva. None. Jones is the ONLY one that has a possibility. Nobody has Silva's skill level in striking, along with striking defense and granite chin...add that with his BJJ ability and that would be why he looks unbeatable.

I can understand the judges going with Henderson by one round. But I would've understood if it went the other way. I really wanted Shogun to win this, but extremely awesome match either way. I feel glad to catch it live.

Hendo won the 1st rd and actually had a dominant position in that rd...something we never saw happen against Silva only 2 fighters ever had him in a bad spot before Sonnen....Lutter and Hendo...

Sonnen was taking him down with Silva's rib injury and Sonnen is arguably a top 3 wrestler in MMA (I'll give the cheater that much). Silva's TDD isn't the best but it's not as bad as people try to make it sound. Plus if he gets on his back then what...? He subs them. His so-called weakness works with one of his own strengths.

if Silva did not hit that triangle in that last minute he would have lost no debate about it...Sonnen was in control the whole time....
