I hate to say it but Roop won the fight. Japanese fighters are shook when they come to the U.S. and Hioki definitely seemed tenative in his first fight here. Mabey it's the pressure coming over here, or mabey it's the flight. Brazilians don't seem to have that problem.

Yeah I agree with Naraku, that the Japanese fighters are timid when they come to the UFC.

Good scrap. I'm glad they put on a show. So funny too in that all the haters, critics, and naysayers were making fun of this bout and noting it would be one of the worst on the card ... and both guys would be underwhelming. Not so ... they delivered and theirs has been on the best on the card so far for sure.

KONGO = power and resilience. More experience and considerable power.
MITRIONE = continually improves from one bout to the next. Very light on his feet for a former football player. Rising star.

Damn, man. Cro Cop is done. He was once the man. He used to be my favorite fighter. He should just retire. Back in Pride he used to KO fighters with that high kick. He really became my favorite fighter when he KO the unstoppable Wanderlei Silva.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of those K-1 strikers stand with him ... they're more aggressive. He needs to be less hesitant in there.
