And I agree, Siri is a nice feature, but over hyped in my opinion too. People will get tired of it soon. I might be wrong, but personally I can see myself getting tired of the shit.
i dont know dude but it just seems like you are fighting an internal battle with yourself trying to make "good" reasons why you didnt get the new one.
I think it comes down to what phone is best for you.
The whole I have the best phone shit is redundant, because what's best for you, might not be the best for me.
I had a friend get the Evo recently, because she doesn't know about phones and it was $99. She was happy. That was new technology to her. She's not in to phones. I told her she might want to look at the 3D, Photon or G2, but I was like fuck it, if you're happy, that's what matters
I think siri will be a social feature most of the time, it will be joke and laugh material to many people, especially younger folks... I think apple targets social atmospheres over anything else.
As a feature it will get lame quick if your constantly solo but apple thinks group material.

Excellent point. Loved my G2 but that small ass screen was killing me. Had to upgrade that.
No battle here at all. I am more than satisfied with my iPhone4, with iOS5 added.
Why the fuck will I upgrade just for a faster phone, better camera, and Siri. Not worth it to me.
And FYI: I have resisted the iPhone for years. The iPhone4 is my first iPhone, and I only bought it then because it was the best phone on AT&T at the time.

Siri is NOT a game changer for me. I don't see alot of people using it. I have the same thing on my evo and i dont use it. Im not going to be standing in public and talking to my phone like "Siri, heyyyy what's up".. "hit me up with that weather alert".. Wtf lol.

What you're forgetting to mention though is that Siri is one of the best implementations of voice commands out now. Not only is it intelligent and elegant, it's also one button press away which is convenient. Instead of having to search for the weather app, type in your city, and etc. you can press one button and ask your phone for the forecast. The reason voice command isn't popular isn't because it hasn't been done this way previously. I'm not saying that the other voice command apps are not good because they are and some are better. However, what this has is ease of use and ease of access. If Apple continues to improve upon Siri's intelligence it will be a must have on every phone. Remember, MP3 Players were big at one time but exploded when Apple came out with theirs. Traditional phones were huge until Apple came out with their touchscreen mini computer version and took the phone industry to new heights. Tablets were...
