Zero calorie sweetener linked to heart attack and stroke

Like I said Bob, more than two decades..... no problems.... since 1998 to be more accurate
no doubt , but the sum of it is where it matters, like if u already have other healthy habits it balances out, also remember the study showed ppl who already predisposed to strokes etc so it was easier for them to have problems with erythritol

Fuck this world always trying to kill me I can't eat nothing!
It ain't that, they're always trying to substitute some shit that they can get naturally, but the substitute is cheaper. They can give a fuck about the side effects, Their profit margins are crazy and their shareholders are happy

This is america. The FDA is asleep at the wheel

Breaking News Erythritol Update:
You probably saw the erythritol study. I have a full video coming out this week to go over the details. This study should be viewed with a high degree of caution and skepticism. Here’s why:

Erythritol is formed in the human body naturally through the Penthose Phosphate Pathway in response to poor metabolic health.

This means that having high levels of erythritol in your blood are a RESULT of poor metabolic and cardiac health. NOT the other way around.

Consuming erythritol will obviously elevate blood erythritol levels, but it’s likely not causation for cardiovascular events.

All this study did is tell us that erythritol increases erythritol in the blood. Well, no duh.

What it didn’t tell us what the metabolic state of the people in the study, with already (reverse correlational) high levels of erythritol.

So, use caution with this study. Because something seems a little fishy (or should I say…. Sugarryyy if you catch my drift).

World Health Organization Warns Against Using Artificial Sweeteners

Continued consumption doesn’t reduce weight and could increase the risk of Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and mortality in adults, the W.H.O. said on Monday.

The World Health Organization on Monday warned against using artificial sweeteners to control body weight or reduce the risk of noncommunicable diseases, saying that long-term use is not effective and could pose health risks.

These alternatives to sugar, when consumed long term, do not serve to reduce body fat in either adults or children, the W.H.O. said in a recommendation, adding that continued consumption could increase the risk of Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and mortality in adults.

“The recommendation applies to all people except individuals with pre-existing diabetes and includes all synthetic and naturally occurring or modified nonnutritive sweeteners that are not classified as sugars found in manufactured foods and beverages, or sold on their own to be added to foods and beverages by consumers,” the W.H.O. said.

The W.H.O. recommendation is based on a review of available evidence, the agency said, and is part of a set of guidelines for healthy diets being rolled out.
Some examples of the sweeteners include aspartame, saccharin, sucralose and stevia. The W.H.O.’s announcement contradicts previous studies that have said these sweeteners don’t offer any health benefits but also do not cause harm.

I can’t drink Coke Zero or diet sodas. Anything that contains Aspartame gives me severe stomach pain

I was a Diet Coke fanatic. When I was dieting I lost a lot of weight and Diet Coke was my go to. I notice I started slurring my vocabulary. My girl told me to stop drinking that shit. I did and I started feeling and talking normal.
