I agreeShoulda pulled his pistol and shot that motherfucker then ate his ass
And he was swimming slow with it like, "fuck ya'll gonna do about it".
HAHAHA that's exactly what i was about to say. he swam thru like a bossAnd he was swimming slow with it like, "fuck ya'll gonna do about it".
Funny cause when I read this post in was like....'how you feel about not living with gators is like how white people live with no threat of police officers and the thought of ALERT is a foreign concept to them'.
Environment effects you...
*two cents*
I actually wouldn't. I grew up in Buffalo, on Lake Erie. Have gone fishing plenty of times in my life, have only been in FL for 7 years and got hip to the "assume there is a gator there" mindset whenever I see a body of water anywhere here just after moving.
Absolutely. It's the same mindset I would have if I went to a fresh water beach up north vs jumping into the Atlantic. I dont think about sharks if/when I swim in a lake up north, but if i jump in the Gulf or Atlantic, i stay close to the shore. Fuck that.
after being water all that time? seriously doubt it.Read this earlier. Apparently the dog was playing dead and ran off as soon as the croc loosened his bite.
Glad it ended well.
But I hope you see where I am coming from when it comes to people how environment plays such a huge role in mindset.

Wow. Glad to hear that. Dog did a great job of playing dead, including breathing under water. Impressive.

That looks to be an America CrocodileYou have to respect your surroundings especially in Florida you can’t get mad at the gator for doing what it Supposed to do
Any body of water is a threat is S Florida. We are used to it and know not to walk through it.I'm just getting a little philosophical, so don't mind me, but your comment got me thinking.
By you saying "just something we are use too" was exactly what I meant by how environment affects our mind state.
Gators is something I don't worry about at all becuase we don't have them in our area and I live about 300 yards away from a lake.
Even if you was to come to my crib and we went to the lake to go fishing, you may still have some reservations of there being gators in my lake even though we don't have them at all.
I can apply that same concept to race, sex, religion, and so forth.
So when we (not just you and I, but anyone) have discussions about people, how much do we really consider the person's environment when it comes to decision making or thinking? And the mythology or truth they would have to tear down to feel comfortable to do something outside their normal thinking?
Like, would you still feel comfortable being around my lake even if I told you there were no gators?
I know it's weird that a gator comment can take me down a rabbit hole like that, but that's how my mind be working when I read stuff.

We are the environment! we live, move, breathe, eat, sleep, work, play, love, hate, respect, create etc etc the environment; its not possible to find anyone who isnt affected by the environment; the question is which environment is one being affected by? the rabbit hole is something serious.....Funny cause when I read this post in was like....'how you feel about not living with gators is like how white people live with no threat of police officers and the thought of ALERT is a foreign concept to them'.

Gators are very gentle creatures that don’t bother humans. Meaning the will never aggressively attack a human. If a Gator sees you they will turn around or swim off. Now Gators will def take an easy meal. So you can’t get to close to one in the water because you never know. On land they will hardly ever fuck with you regardless of how close you get because they will typically move away. In water all bets are off
A problem that we now face is that a Nile Crocodile was released in the wild by someone and their population is growing. America Crocodiles are gentle like Gators. But those Nile Crocodiles are crazy aggressive and seek confrontations
I wasn't sure so I Googled. Google lied to meHollywood COURT lol. One of the most infamous housing projects in ATL before they were torn down.
