Y'all eating Paula Patton's fried chicken?

Family! Why y'all in shock? Y'all know her Momma a Cracka!

She was tried by WHITE folk! Her shitty cooking is no surprise!

Patton was born in Los Angeles, California, to Joyce (née Vanraden), a school teacher, and Charles Patton, a lawyer. Her mother is White American and her father is African-American.[2][3][4] She graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School, and then started college at University of California, Berkeley, transferring to University of Southern California's Film School after her first year. Shortly after completing her studies, she won a three-month assignment making documentaries for PBS.[5]

Internet has given subpar below average women a national stage with the likes of accomplished actresses.

And the nerve to talk as if she knows her. Yall ain't homegirls.

She's making Mission Impossible movies and you're making tiktok or whatever the fuck videos about her cooking video...loser shit

the thing is I was raised on properly washing/cleaning/seasoning meat

but there is a downside

if you don't do it properly?

All that "washing" can actually spread more contamination

and the heat from properly cooking should KILL any and all bacteria.

So I guess scientifically rinsing and properly cooking to temperature is ENOUGH

I don't want to be a hypocrite cause I still do it the old way but I UNDERSATND what she doing

with her fine ass.
I used to didn’t wash chicken wings, my mindset was similar the heat would kill the bacteria. But then my girl clowned me so I start washing lol

Lmbao what!?!??? Bruh aint nobody eating chicken ceviche . Rubbing salt all over it other than to season it ain’t killing shit.

Breh you lost your family's connection with southern cooking. That is normal.

Hell one of my exes is from Guyana and they do it down there too.

Your right.

But bro that is what my mom's taught me

That is gonna be a damn hard habit to break

No matter what the science says

All you are doing is spreading bacteria, little salmonella particles splashing all over your kitchen. You had it right before.

Naw that’s brining the chicken and it’s done for flavor reasons not to kill bacteria. Only high heat is killing salmonella. When frying chicken my moms would use a salt brine and soak the chicken. Remove then season then batter then fry

She washed the chicken off, what does the bitch mean the chicken ain’t clean? Did she want her to soap up the chicken? Most people rinse off the chicken dry it season it then flour it. The fuck this ho talking about aside from no seasoning. PS Raw Paula Patton
She is supposed to add vinegar or lemon juice to the chicken. I do a mixture of both along with a little pineapple juice and let the chicken sit in after It was rinsed with water.

Why? That doesn’t kill salmonella deep in chicken. You just wasting lemons and vinegar.

Hell to the naaaw....I ain't eating that shit cause she didn't wash it, burn the feathers aka hairs off of it, and then seasoned it ,not while it's in the grease.

I blame you niggas that like bi-racial ,bad bitches, exotics and whatever ever else you want to call these females and the down side is they wasn't raised by a big momma and their mother's wasn't shit so all of the tricks to the trade of woman-hood went to hell in a hand basket lol....she never took a bath with vinegar in it,pads fuck up toilet system can't handle it,most can't deal with a lot of milk, hair in a comb gets burned or hidden,we have grease buckets for the flavor......we miss big momma's

everyone got they own style.... but i was taught season then coat with flour... Only time I wash chicken is when i cut the feet then ring and cut that bastards fucn neck off,, then gotta gut its ass then rinse to get all the blood off after and gut juice and shit away... Aint nothing like fresh chicken living 2 hrs earlier then on my plate for dinner

this shit below only applys to store bought shit

The reason for washing the chicken is because the processing plant mixes all that shit and the chicken can have piss and saw dust and other shit on it while being packaged. I’m washing my chicken period.

Proper cooking time and temperature handles it all..... cold water id just to rinse it off.... and I don't like vinegar flavored chicken.... that's fork pork and goat

.
I don't mean soak, but I don't let the chicken sit until it gets slimy. A quick dunk, rinse with fresh water, and dry on paper towels. Then depending on if I'm grilling, frying or Air frying marinade or batter. I rinse Steak, pork, and lamb the same way. None of them end up with a vinegar flavor. It's more about cross-contamination and your cooking environment. All of my stations are kept separate and all my meat cutting boards get bleach. I use the wood board for veggies/bread/etc only
