EA DON'T PUT TITAN FALL 2 ON THE PS4! SONY PLAYSTATION AND ITS FANBOYS ARE DISRESPECTFUL!

not sure who all here was in the destiny beta.. but that shit was fun...

just think if Halo borderlands and mass effect had a baby

felt like you are playing a HALO game if bungie was allowed to re-event the game

can't wait for the release

EA has some good news for you regarding EA Access: no double subscription on Xbox One unless you want to blast people online in Battlefield 4.

“Any Xbox One gamer can join EA Access and take advantage of the benefits of membership,” said a company representative to Joystiq. “In order to connect to multiplayer gameplay on the Xbox One platform you will need a subscription to Xbox Gold.”

The service in the US runs $4.99 a month and EA has confirmed a £3.99 monthly price for the UK.

An annual membership in US will run you $29.99, but a yearly option in the UK has yet to be announced, per MCV.

A beta is currently running for a selected few, and it’s slated to roll out to more customers in the coming months.

Sony said overnight it had turned down EA Access for PlayStation 4 as the company felt it wasn’t a good value for its customers.

Thus, the reason EA announced it as an Xbox One exclusive yesterday. Maybe if enough PS4 player want the service, Sony will negotiate something at a later date. It wouldn’t be the first time a console maker added or redacted an option or service after enough people spoke up.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Release Date Moved Forward

ShadowsofMordor.jpg

ShadowsofMordor

We’ve grown used to release dates of video games being pushed back, but rarely does a publisher move them forward. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is set to be an exception to this rule, as the game will now be releasing in North America on September 30th and on October 2nd in the rest of the world.

The game, which has all the makings of the first great title based upon The Lord of the Rings series, has been moved forward due to popular demand, but it now also puts it in the unfortunate position of releasing within the same month as Destiny. Given that Destiny is releasing at the beginning of the September, though, maybe LOTR fans will be able to splash their cash once again at the end of the month.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be making its way PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Get your bows, arrows and Orc blood-stained swords at the ready, humans.

There review scores weren't high enough.

Layoffs at GameSpot

CBS Interactive gaming site makes staff cuts, says "a few positions were impacted"

Consumer gaming site GameSpot has undergone a significant round of layoffs, GamesIndustry.biz has learned.

Now-former GameSpot reviewer Carolyn Petit confirmed the news in a series of posts on Twitter, saying, "Today was my last day at GameSpot. It was a dream to work there, and I'm very proud of the work I did. I walk out alongside some colleagues I am honored and privileged to have worked with. And I will miss working with everyone at GS so much."

GameSpot is the flagship gaming brand at CBS Interactive, which also owns Giant Bomb, GameFAQs, and onGamers. CBSi touts GameSpot as streaming 50 million hours of live gaming content every month, with 25 million monthly visitors across its gaming platforms.

The full extent of the cuts is not clear yet, but they extended beyond the editorial team.

[UPDATE]: A GameSpot representative acknowledged the cuts, saying, "GameSpot did some shifting of internal resources as part of our long-term content and user engagement strategy. A few positions were impacted."

was in the 360 beta, didnt get a chance to do the moon missions..

I actually did the moon mission solo. There was a boss but nothing like that damn Spider Tank. No way that was a level 6 mission with him there.

Is that the mission where the orbs are flying around and you have to destroy that machine to end the mission? I died like twice doing that mission. I did all of the final waves and bosses solo. I just remembered the ship that kept spawning enemies then the big ass boss showed up. Yeah that may be what you're talking about. Yeah that mission was a bitch. That 26 damage shotty was my best friend during the beta along with the flash grenade.

My money is on ME4 being about discovering more about where the Reapers came from then getting a clue that Shepard is alive. ME5 is the search for Shepard. ME6 is the return of Shepard (because fans "demanded" it), to fight the creators of The Reapers/Catalyst to defeat this vicious cycle once and for all.

If Bioware does a story like that I would gladly throw my money at them. I doubt that they would do that though, it makes to much sense.

I still have a sour taste in my from how they fucked up ME3 ending.

that would be stupid as hell EA has already admitted that was a mistake not having titanfall on PlayStation 4 now they are going to cut out their nose spite their face the name of the game is selling unit you don't do that by ignoringthe system that has the most console sold

honestly I'm not a fan of first person shooters why I will never play halo destiny Killzone or the res the only first person game I will play is Bioshock because of the story that's it I've always been like that in fact that was the first first person shooter I ever played was Bioshock on xbox 360

Sony did not want it.

Sony Slams EA Access Subscription Service for Xbox One

We reached out to Sony for clarification, and it seems like PlayStation 4 owners shouldn’t hold their breath for the program.

“We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect,” a Sony representative told us via email. “PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200% since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price. We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.”

You have to put some of the blame on Sony

Sony actually turned down 'Titanfall'

New details from Geoff Keighly’s Final Hours app reveal that Microsoft didn’t have to do much at all. Sony said no to Titanfall.

Early during development of the PS4 and Xbox One, both Sony and Microsoft were very secretive about their consoles, fearing that hardware leaks could hurt their competitive advantage. When Respawn entertainment approached Sony to bring Titanfall to the PlayStation 4, Sony wasn’t willing to disclose any information of their hardware, fearing that a Respawn employee might leak the tech specs to Microsoft.

Sony Offered to Develop a Vita Version of Titanfall's Prototype

Prior to revealing PlayStation 4, Sony offered to develop a Vita version of Respawn Entertainment’s R-1, the prototype shooter that would eventually become Titanfall.
In 2012, Respawn reached out to Sony about its unannounced next-generation platform in an effort to understand its hardware, according to The Final Hours of Titanfall. Sony wasn’t ready to talk specifics yet, but “offered to help with developing a version of R1” for PS Vita.

The giant orb was at the end. The mission would not have been so hard if all the damn enemies didn't keep respawning during the battles with the bosses. It was the one where you had to have a fireteam.

I'm mad I obsessed over the decisions so damn much. I seriously had 4 characters in ME1 written out to make different decisions when it all was over. :smh:

I'm expecting a Mass Effect Trilogy HD next year to have our saved games ready. Would be dope if EA let you play the 360 version with EA Access but that sounds too good to be true.

Yeah you probably right about the HD collection. I'm waiting on Tale Tell's Walking Dead HD collection so I don't have to replay it all over again.

Mix ME1 equipment customization with ME2 action, add their RPG elements to an improved ME3 graphic engine, auto mine planets for elements while being able to still explore in the Mako and I'll gladly wait.

And the Playstation Now prices are still way too high. I don't wanna hear that beta shit because I downloaded 3 EA games for $5. They fixed Maddens glitches and now I wait for FIFA.

It's safe to say that the resurrection of Killer Instinct has been a huge success. One of the launch games for Xbox One, the action-packed fighter has proven extremely popular; it was recently featured as one of the main events of this month's massive Evo 2014 fighting game tournament.

The pain train is still running full steam ahead, too: Microsoft Studios and the development team at Iron Galaxy is releasing a special retail version of the game, “Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack” starting September 23 for $19.99.

The pack comes loaded with the game all eight fighters from Season 1. That’s Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, Orchid, Spinal, and Fulgore – giving you plenty of choices for obliterating your opponents – PLUS a code for a bonus fighter from Season 2 – TJ Combo.

And that’s just a piece of the exciting news being announced in anticipation for when Killer Instinct: Season 2 hits Xbox One this later this year. So get those C-C-C-COMBO BREAKERS ready, people!
