About the backwards compatibility. Can you use xbox 360 discs in the xbox one or do you have to buy the games again but the backwards compatible version of the same game?

You use the disc then it installs it. If the game had DLC go to Manage Game and download it for each title. Digital just pop up in your game list.
more and more reasons why I will most likely get a xbox one for the holidays. The only issue I see with the xbone s is when it comes to streaming netflix and plex even though it is a more powerful system it is slower than the roku, firestick, and nvidia shield.
Yea ever since Cortana got added my XBox has been slow. I stream on my PS4 now. I turned her off. Rather use the Kinect for voice commands.
Check bestbuy again. They had a 4tb hub a few weeks ago for $85 I copped one and plugged my other 4tb into it with another 1tb. Making 10 with the internal HD. I think I'm gonna be good for a min but I've already used 4.5tb.
I'll check but it's probably back up to regular price...I got caught up watching the infiltrator...when I went to buy the HD when it was over they had already switched to their new sales items for the week...I'll keep checking tho...I only see 2TB HDs going on sale for black fri. might just say fuck it and buy the 3TB one for $110 on amazon

what I needed to make it work...far easier to do than to type lol...
a) use an old amazon account that you rarely use or a new one (bcuz you risk losing prime/household if you use your normal account due to the changing of countries)
b) when prompted to use a UK address cuz it recognizes you're in the US...get one from here http://www.fakeaddressgenerator.com/World/uk_address_generator you can use your name and use the address info (leave 'state full' blank)
c) must use visa/MC and your regular billing address (where it reads 'county' enter your state and don't forget to change 'country' to 'US') (also this won't work w/ discover card)
that's it...redeem code on xbox w/ your regular live account and it goes thru normally...again it actually took me longer to type this than to do it...I discovered this on slickdeals cuz the $38 deal was dead

there's no damn risk...make an account...best case scenario you get it...worst case scenario *gasp* you don't...amazon doesn't cross reference your credit card...I have 6 different accounts all w/ the same card (this is from when I was being cheap and getting the free month trial...so after the trial ended...I'd just make a new account lol)
