Xbox One Console Reviews

Were you on yesterday afternoon? Name looks familiar

Nah I didn't start playing until 10ish EST. I was going to play tonight, but I forgot my friend's wife's birthday party is tonight. I'm not trying to stay out all night drinking because that's exactly what's going to happen if I don't leave at midnight. Phanatic215 on Xbox.

This game is good when you play with people you know.

They have to make the Non-Hostile Agent sign bigger or highlight them in a different color. Cause people letting their bullets fly as soon as the see some one running.

Ive played enough so ill be pre-ordering..

now the waiting begins to see how Ubisoft's other big release will be,(laurent detoc)"GO RECON,WHYLANS."

I'm definitely buying this game. Feels like Mass effect, Destiny and the old Rainbow six vegas.

Looks like The Division will get an open beta this month

Xbox Italy's official Facebook page has details of an open beta for The Division.

Ubisoft's online shooter will throw its doors open to the public from 16th to 21st February, the page has detailed.

This second beta test (the first to be public) has yet to be officially announced, so things may still change - although Microsoft should probably know what's what.

Once again, there will be 24 hours of exclusive access for Xbox One owners.

A second beta test makes sense - there's more than enough time for another, before the game fully launches on 8th March.

The Division's current closed beta test has been extended until 11am tomorrow, 2nd February - so you'll still be able to play it tonight if you were invited.

We've reached out to Ubisoft in case it feels like confirming.

The Division beta has a problem with cheating — Ubisoft investigating

The streets of New York are full of self-made superheroes.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is currently in beta testing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. But its PC version is getting hammered by people exploiting the game’s netcode, according to reports on Reddit and videos on YouTube. It means that players are competing on unequal terms in The Dark Zone, The Division’s player-versus-player combat area.

The fact that some players are unfairly giving themselves infinite ammo, super-speed, and invisibility is a big deal for one of the year’s largest new releases. While this is a beta test, The Division is only five weeks away from hitting stores, and players want to know that developer and publisher Ubisoft is doing something to address these cheating problems. Failure to do so could impact PC sales of a flagship release.

One Redditor claims that the cheating problem is because The Division’s stats are stored on the client side (your own PC) and that the game’s servers just accept any changes to them without checking.

Ubisoft community manager Natchai Stappers initially responded to concerns about cheating on The Division’s official forum by saying, “The things discussed here are not in fact hacks or cheats, but merely abuse of glitches that exist in the game currently. These glitches are currently being worked on by the team.”

He’s since followed up to say that Ubisoft is investigating these reported issues further. “Guys, just [so] you’re aware, we’ve taken the feedback regarding possible cheats/hacks to heart and will be thoroughly investigating,” he said.

What about stop the glitches on all Platforms? I've waited a minute for this. Hope its not on some Call of Duty nonsense.

Division got potential, but I hate that they make you wait 30 secs to respawn if you or your friends go rogue and die. They gotta change that before I buy it.

NBA 2K16 Studio Sued Over Some Video Game Tattoos

If you ever look at your day job and think, self, I could be making more money, then maybe you oughta consider a career in video game sports tattoo litigation.

As ridiculous as that may seem, there’s money in it! In 2012, a tattoo artist was awarded over $20,000 when THQ used one of his trademarked designs in a UFC game. A year later another artist sued EA for using one of his designs—inked on former NFL running back Ricky Williams—without permission.

Now ESPN reports that Solid Oak Sketches, who own copyrights on a number of tattoos they’ve done for players like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, are suing 2K over their work’s appearance in NBA 2K16.

Solid Oak originally offered to license the art to 2K for $1.1 million, and are now only suing because 2K didn’t take them up on the offer.

It sounds trivial, but then, a tattoo—or at least the kind of ones we’re talking about here— is a work of art. You need permission to use logos and photos in a game, so a tattoo should be no different.

agree with the poster who said that they better fix that whole "Non-hostile" thing..

as for the Rogue Agents..interesting how if one member goes rogue, the whole team does by default..so basically he or she will fuck it up for everyone else
